Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Features 16 Maps, With 8 Playable In Beta

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has truly piqued my interest. The prospect of new maps and a mix of old and new modes is always an exciting proposition. I can still remember the thrill of those early Black Ops multiplayer sessions, and it seems the developers are keen on recapturing that magic.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces completely fresh maps along with a blend of classic and modern game modes. A variety of these options will be accessible during the upcoming beta test. The specifics about the multiplayer aspects were unveiled at the Call of Duty Next Showcase on August 28th.

At the start, Black Ops 6’s multiplayer offers a grand collection of 16 maps. Among them, 12 are classic 6vs6 arenas, while the remaining 4 maps cater to both 6vs6 and 2vs2 gameplay styles, known as Strike maps.

The 16 brand-new maps announced for Black Ops 6 at launch are:

  • Protocol
  • Rewind
  • Skyline
  • Lowtown
  • Subsonic
  • Scud
  • Redcard
  • Babylon
  • Derelict
  • Vorkuta
  • Vault
  • Sandhouse
  • Stakeout
  • Gala
  • Pit
  • Payback

The 8 maps for the multiplayer beta are:

  • Skyline
  • Scud
  • Rewind
  • Babylon
  • Derelict
  • Stakeout
  • Gala
  • Pit

In Black Ops 6, I can’t wait to dive into the thrilling multiplayer experience of Kill Order – a captivating blend of objective and slayer modes! As part of each team, my role will be to safeguard our prized asset, the high-value target, while simultaneously attempting to take out the enemy’s high-value target. Every takedown contributes to our team score, but things get really interesting when our high-value target scores a kill or is eliminated by us! It’s a heart-pounding game of cat and mouse, where every move could mean victory or defeat.

Being chosen as a top priority, you’ll receive additional perks like reinforced armor plating for increased defense and enemy markers on your mini-map for improved awareness.

In the upcoming Black Ops 6, we’ll see a return of objective areas within Domination mode, and for better communication among team members, Hardpoint now features distinct icons to indicate objectives.

The specifics about seasonal content remain mysterious, but it’s hinted that beloved maps from the series will resurface at some point in the future. These maps are so essential to the Black Ops franchise that it would feel incomplete without them.

Make sure to look into the entry requirements, commencement date, and pre-loading instructions for the Black Ops 6 beta test.
