Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta Preload Begins Soon - File Sizes Revealed

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 approaches. The beta is just around the corner, and as someone who has been through countless betas before, I know the drill – preload, install, wait, play, repeat!

On October 25, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available, but if you can’t wait that long, you can start playing the game’s beta as early as August 30. Activision has already shared details on how to preload the game before the early-access period starts, and here is all the information you need to ensure your beta version is ready for day one.

Starting from August 28, you can preload the beta for Black Ops 6. Activision recommends downloading the Season 5 Reloaded update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, which will be available from August 21. Ensure that this update is fully installed before August 30, as players with this update will automatically receive the beta files as an update to their current games.

Instead, individuals who don’t have Call of Duty installed yet or are back for more action can join the Black Ops 6 beta. They can do this by downloading it directly from their preferred digital store.

As a longtime gamer with years of experience under my belt, I find it incredibly helpful when game developers like Activision provide clear and detailed information about the file sizes for their games across different platforms. Having this data at hand allows me to make informed decisions about which versions of the game I’d like to purchase or download without worrying about running into storage issues on my gaming devices. This is especially important with popular franchises like Call of Duty, where the size differences between platforms can be significant and having the existing app installed can impact the overall file size. Kudos to Activision for being transparent about these details – it makes the gaming experience smoother for all of us!

Estimated download sizes:

  • PS5: 34GB with existing install and 80GB without
