Caedrel becomes Twitch’s most-watched streamer after besting Asmongold

Streamer Caedrel has reached the pinnacle on Twitch, surpassing Asmongold to claim the title of Twitch’s most-viewed streamer.

Following several months of consistently rising through the Twitch rankings, Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont has now been crowned as the top-viewed streamer, largely due to his League of Legends broadcasts.

For a while now, Caedrel has been gaining popularity, as evidenced by the massive audience of over half a million people who watched his shared stream during the Worlds 2024 event in September 2024.

The support from his own team, the Ratones, was a significant boost as well, since their inaugural match in the NLC set new records for viewership in the league.

In March 2025, Lamont has once more emerged victorious, surpassing some of the biggest names on Twitch to claim the title.

Caedrel beats Asmongold, Hasan and Kai Cenat for top Twitch streamer

Based on data from StreamsCharts, it appears that Caedrel concluded the month having watched a total of 11.17 million hours, making him the sole streamer who surpassed the ten-million mark.

Additionally, he accomplished the task with a significantly lower number of hours streamed compared to Asmongold, who was active for approximately 225 hours on his ZackRawrr account in March and accumulated 9,990,000 watched hours.

Other big names include Jynxzi, who finished with 7.01M hours watched, and Hasan, who had 6.79M.

In contrast to the amount of time he spent streaming in February, the previous Twitch champion, Kai Cenat, significantly reduced his live sessions, streaming approximately 100 fewer hours. Surprisingly, even with this decrease in streaming, a total of 5.34 million hours were still viewed by his audience.

In March, Caedrel’s League of Legends team, Los Ratones, clinched the EMEA Masters 2025 Winter championship with a dominating 3-0 victory over Ici Japon Corp.

It remains to be seen whether the League of Legends streamer can keep his crown on Twitch, or if Kai Cenat will make a strong comeback and regain the top spot.
