Burger King launches a new “Baby Body Burger” that’s almost 2,000 calories

Burger King Japan unveils its largest burger ever, the Baby Body Burger, in a joint venture with the Japan Sumo Association.

Labeled as “Beef Clash,” this impressive burger is stacked with no less than five char-grilled beef patties, topped with four layers of cheddar cheese, four crispy strips of bacon, dill pickles, fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and a zesty sauce.

This item weighs approximately 668 grams and contains an impressive 1,876 calories, which is why it’s being marketed as a “Yokozuna-level” product, referring to the top tier in sumo wrestling.

In the collaboration, customers will get an exclusive sticker with the Japan Sumo Association’s emblem as well. This way, you can proudly display your love for fast food. (Whether it’s a symbol of pride or embarrassment is up to you to decide.)

Burger King reveals 1,900-calorie burger

As a point of comparison, the most calorie-rich offering on the Burger King US menu is the Triple Whopper with Bacon & Cheese, totaling 1,350 calories. Conversely, the Baby Body Burger has over 500 extra calories, approximately three times the count found in a regular Whopper.

As a food enthusiast, I’ve come to realize that the Dietary Guidelines for Americans suggest that most adults require anywhere from 1,600 to 3,000 calories daily, taking into account factors such as age, gender, and physical activity. Quite remarkably, Burger King Japan’s Baby Body Burger packs a whopping 1,876 calories, which is almost an entire day’s worth of calories in a single meal!
