In the most recent update to the College Football 25 Player Rankings, these athletes experienced significant boosts to their Overall Ratings (OVR):

  • HB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State Broncos – 97 OVR (+1)

This season, Jeanty has been the standout running back in College Football, amassing close to 1,250 rushing yards and scoring 18 total touchdowns. In their latest victory over Hawaii, Jeanty carried the ball 31 times for a remarkable 217 yards. His average of nearly 10 yards per rush this year suggests that his stats are almost too good to be true, like they were copied from a video game. If the coaching team can manage his workload wisely, Jeanty is poised to make history this season.

  • DE Abdul Carter, Penn State Nittany Lions – 94 OVR (+3)

In the last four matches, the defensive end from the Nittany Lions’ team has accumulated four sacks and consistently harasses quarterbacks. This player is also a part of a robust defense that has managed to keep offenses at bay, limiting them to 12 points or fewer in four out of six games this season. As Penn State’s schedule becomes more challenging with Wisconsin and Ohio State on the horizon, players like Carter will play a crucial role in securing victories.

  • HB Dylan Sampson, Tennessee Volunteers – 93 OVR (+5)

This season, I’ve managed to surpass 100 rushing yards in six out of seven games, with the exception being a game where I still clocked 92 yards and scored a touchdown. To add to that impressive tally, I’ve already notched up an astounding 17 touchdowns this year! Known for my agility and speed, I’m undoubtedly a force to reckon with both on the real-life gridiron and in the virtual arena. In Tennessee’s triumphant clash against Alabama, I carried the ball 26 times, amassing 139 yards and scoring twice!

  • WR Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State Buckeyes – 90 OVR (+6)

As a freshman on the Buckeyes’ team this season, I’ve been racking up touchdowns and impressive yardage numbers in every game. It feels awesome knowing that I’m becoming one of Will Howard’s go-to guys. In our loss against Oregon, I had a breakout performance with 9 receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown – my best outing so far this season. Can’t wait to keep growing and improving as we move forward!

  • WR Ryan Williams, Alabama Crimson Tide – 90 OVR (+8)

Demonstrating an average of more than 20 yards per reception, Williams is a dynamic player capable of creating big plays once he gets the ball. So far this season, he has scored seven touchdowns in as many games and maintains an average of over 90 yards per game. However, since September, Williams hasn’t surpassed the 100-yard mark, as Alabama has experienced difficulties during their last three matches. While we’d love to witness Williams shine, we acknowledge that the team as a whole needs to address some challenges first.

  • RE Trey White, San Diego State Aztecs – 88 OVR (+15)

As a passionate Dynasty fan, if I were considering taking on the coaching role at San Diego State, I’d be thrilled to know we’d have a formidable defensive end like Khalan “White” Phillips to kick off our team. This season alone, he’s racked up an impressive 11 sacks, with at least two in each of the last four games – quite a feat! His 32 tackles place him second on the team, just one behind JD Coffey III. The Aztecs have been on a roll lately, winning their last two games and turning that initial 1-3 start into a thing of the past. With players like White on our roster, we’ve got a real shot at making it to a Bowl game this season. Go Aztecs!
