When considering Brett Goldstein, it’s unlikely that notions of superstition or intuition come to mind. Instead, thoughts typically revolve around logic, reason, and seriousness. However, at times, an unanticipated surge of “intuitive” feelings takes over, such as when we receive another season of Ted Lasso out of the blue. Thank goodness for that! Goldstein discussed on the Good One podcast how, despite Ted Lasso completing its planned three-season run, there were still hints pointing towards more story. “You have a plan,” Goldstein said, “but then this world begins to materialize around you and you find yourself falling in love with things you didn’t know you would fall in love with.” He continued, “I don’t want to sound too mystical, but one must remain open to the signs… When an idea arises, you should stay open to it and think, ‘That’s a great idea.’ But then you might find yourself thinking, ‘Maybe there is more.’
