Brawl Stars Moe Guide – Best Setup For New Mythic Brawler

As a seasoned Brawl Star player with over a thousand victories under my belt, I wholeheartedly agree with this comprehensive guide for Moe, the latest Mythic brawler. Having tried and tested various strategies, I can vouch for the effectiveness of the recommended gadget, Rat Race, and star power, Skipping Stones. These choices provide a versatile edge in multiple situations, making Moe a formidable addition to any team.

In the 30th season of Brawl Stars, we welcome a new combatant – the shape-shifting brawler known as Moe. This guide aims to explore his unique setup and determine an optimal build for him. Moe has two distinct forms, each with its own set of advantages depending on the scenario at hand. While his primary attack mimics that of Spike, his alternate form boosts his speed and strength significantly. So, let’s delve into the latest addition to Grom’s team – Moe!

Starting this coming Thursday, August 29th, you can get early access to Moe for just $16.99! As part of the Value Pack, you’ll not only receive Moe but also 8 fresh pins, 4000 coins, 2200 Power Points, 80 Gems, and an exclusive Monterey Moe skin as well!

Brawl Stars Moe Guide – All Attacks, Stats Per Level

Moe’s primary offensive move, Shovel Slinger, allows him to hurl a stone. As this rock nears its farthest distance, it splits into four smaller stones. When these four smaller stones reach their maximum range or collide with a surface, they too shatter into four even smaller stones. All resulting stones inflict the same amount of damage.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share that Moe has an alternate form with a signature move called the Giga Drill Break. This up-close assault resembles Amber’s primary attack in its essence. The moment you lock on your target, Moe’s driller goes into overdrive, unleashing a rapid barrage of attacks capable of striking as many as five times per second. While Moe’s alternate form doesn’t last long, the sheer force of this attack is more than enough to shred through enemies with ease!

In a nutshell, Moe’s incredible device, Moe’s Burrowing Tool, is the key to his metamorphosis into the Driller form. Initially, this ability only lasts for five seconds. However, as he burrows towards an adversary before the timer starts ticking, Moe can cause damage to any enemies he encounters underground. Upon resurfacing, Moe will briefly enter his Driller form, so be mindful and use it strategically!

Here are Moe’s stats at launch (subject to change in future updates)

Brawl Stars Moe Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?

Like every other brawler, Moe comes with two Gadgets:

  • Dodgy Digging – “Moe digs up some ‘borrowed’ goods, increasing his Super charge rate by 50% for 5 seconds.”
  • Rat Race – “Moe dashes a short distance in his Driller, destroying walls in the process.”

Additionally, Moe also has two Star Powers you can unlock:

  • Skipping Stones – “Moe’s basic attacks bounce one more time. The range of the attack remains the same.”
  • Speeding Ticket – “Moe’s Driller has increased travel speed while drilling underground.”

Additionally, you can also purchase the following Gears to improve Moe in battle:

  • Speed
  • Health
  • Damage
  • Vision
  • Shield
  • Gadget Charge

Brawl Stars Moe Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup

For Gadgets, Moe, we prefer the Rat Race gadget. While Dodgy Digging helps you charge your Super faster, the five second time limit might pressure you into making a risky and costly move. With Rat Race, you can open up lanes or catch up to enemies, making it useful in a variety of ways.

As a gamer, I’d say: Go for Moe’s “Skipping Stones” Star Power! While the extra speed from Speeding Ticket can come in handy, Skipping Stones offers a broader boost that’s more beneficial overall. It could tip the scales in a tight 1-on-1 battle or aid you in charging your Super faster. In my opinion, Skipping Stones is definitely the way to go!

For Gears, we recommend both Damage and Shield. Extra damage in a pinch always helps. And the Shield bonus should make Moe a bit tankier, especially when he comes out of Drill form.

Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Moe In (And Which Modes You Shouldn’t)

Gem Grab

In a simpler way: Moe’s average health points aren’t great for carrying gems, but his long attack range is useful for gradually reducing an enemy’s health. By focusing on shooting at the gem spawn point, Moe can potentially harm someone. Moreover, he can intercept a fleeing Gem Grabber as he tunnels underground with his alternate form. To deal the most damage, use his Skipping Stones Star Power effectively.

Hot Zone

In much the same vein as with Gem Grab, Moe’s attack is designed to swiftly eliminate foes in the critical zone. As each stone he throws deals an equal amount of damage, Moe can prove indispensable for completely eliminating the opposition. Additionally, he has the ability to burrow underground and swiftly navigate to the Hot Zone, potentially leading to a speedy win. However, keep in mind that his health points aren’t exceptionally high.

Heist

In Heist, Moe’s high-damage capabilities make him an ideal brawler. Whether you employ Moe’s Machine to ascend to the Safe and dish out massive damage or fire shots from a distance securely, you’re consistently inflicting harm on the Safe. Moreover, your primary attack can simultaneously hit multiple targets, providing a double benefit in the process.

  • The safe
  • Enemy brawlers

Once more, employ the technique of Skipping Stones to boost your damage output as much as possible. Encountering Moe during Heist will prove challenging indeed.

Brawl Stars Moe Guide – What Modes Should I NOT Use Moe In?

Brawl Ball

Moe may utilize the Rat Race gadget on his Driller to create openings, but he doesn’t appear to be the optimal choice for Brawl Ball. He lacks many defenses against goal-scorers, and his average health could make him an easy mark for elimination. While he’s not a terrible pick, there are numerous other brawlers that would perform better in this game mode.

Solo Showdown

In Duo Showdown, Moe performs admirably, but solo play could prove challenging. Without a partner to provide support, Moe’s Machine might put him in danger. You could focus on one opponent, only for another to suddenly appear and defeat you. Yes, Moe inflicts significant damage, but he needs to stay alert during Solo Showdown.

In summary, our comprehensive guide on Moe, the latest mythical character in Brawl Stars, has concluded. We hope you’ll find success in unlocking this new brawler! As you explore the thrills of this newest addition, don’t forget to peek at what awaits in Brawl Stars Season 30!
