Box Office: Final Destination Bloodlines’ Record-Shattering Debut Knocks Thunderbolts* From No. 1

As a movie enthusiast, I can’t wait for the thrilling debut of “Final Destination: Bloodlines” this weekend! This chilling sixth installment in the “Final Destination” series is unlike any other. In these films, Death itself pursues individuals who have cheated death in the past, ultimately claiming their lives in gruesome and extraordinary ways.

In “Bloodlines,” we follow a family who finds themselves in Death’s crosshairs. The cast includes Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd. This movie has garnered the highest Rotten Tomatoes score of any film in the franchise so far, with a Certified Fresh 92% rating that surpasses even the 63% score achieved by “Final Destination 5” in 2011. I can hardly contain my excitement for this spine-tingling addition to the series!

By this weekend’s end, according to predictions, Final Destination Bloodlines will have amassed a total of $46 million in its opening three days at the domestic box office, surpassing its initial estimated range of $31 to $38 million. Moreover, it has significantly outperformed the entire franchise by far, claiming the best weekend debut. It has also dethroned Marvel’s Thunderbolts from its top spot, which had held the number one position for two consecutive weekends since its release on May 2.

During its third weekend, the movie “Thunderbolts*” is closely competing with “Sinners” in its fifth weekend for the second spot at the box office. “Sinners”, a hugely successful horror film by Ryan Coogler, has already earned over $200 million in North America and is projected to make around $15 million this weekend. “Thunderbolts*” is expected to earn approximately $15.5 million, but if “Sinners” exceeds that, it might claim the second spot. This prediction follows the fact that for the first time ever at the domestic box office, “Sinners” took over “Thunderbolts*” on Thursday, securing the No. 1 position.
