Borderlands 4 showcases Rafa the Exo-Soldier in new trailer

Today, 2K and Gearbox Software unveiled an in-depth gameplay trailer for what appears to be Borderlands 4, highlighting a new character named Rafa the Exo-soldier.

Rafa serves as an excellent introduction for first-person shooter enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the gameplay of Borderlands 4. The overview trailer for Rafa, set within his Deadframe exo-suit, highlights the variety of weapons available across different ranges and beyond. This trailer was released just hours after 2K and Gearbox Software announced the Nintendo Switch 2 release date for Borderlands 4, with Randy Pitchford confirming that the Nintendo Switch 2 version will run at approximately 30 frames per second.

On the 12th of September, Borderlands 4 is set to debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game will be available for Nintendo Switch 2 users starting October 3rd.
