Borderlands 4 showcases more of its story in a new trailer

2K Games and Gearbox Software recently unveiled additional details about the narrative of “Borderlands 4” in a fresh trailer prior to its release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming September.

On September 12, Borderlands 4 is set to debut for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and both Steam and Epic Games Store on computers. This year, it will also be available for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Catch a glimpse of the harsh rule of the Timekeeper, during which individuals are subjected to a chilling procedure involving the installation of a Bolt – a spinal implant of cybernetic technology designed to control the masses. Shortly after their crash-landing, the Vault Hunters are apprehended and compulsorily fitted with this device, thereby confining them on Kairos.

On the planet Kairos, the Timekeeper and his faction hold supreme power, residing within a fortified metropolis called Dominion City that is nearly impregnable. When Elpis, an outside force, entered Kairos’ atmosphere and brought about devastating chaos, the Timekeeper sealed off the city and dispatched his Leaders to handle the aftermath directly. Step forward, Claptrap, who claims to be the mastermind behind the Crimson Resistance, eagerly seeking the Vault Hunters as potential new recruits.

You start with a small beginning, then travel across Kairos and join a rebellion against the Timekeeper. Many people in Kairos are getting restless, which seems like it’s about to erupt into something big. Claptrap, who calls himself the leader of the Crimson Resistance, wants you (Vault Hunters) as his new team members.
