Blumhouse and Meta have unveiled “Blumhouse Horrorverse,” an exciting, immersive horror adventure set to debut on May 22 within the Meta Horizon platform. This new realm will whisk fans into the terrifying worlds of Blumhouse’s horror series, which include “M3GAN,” “The Wolf Man,” “The Black Phone,” and “Happy Death Day.

In the “Blumhouse Horror Universe,” the game titled “Survival Lockdown” is introduced. This game lets players designate roles for everyone in a house at random, either as victims or villains. While victims collaborate to locate hidden keycards to break the lockdown, those assigned as villains embody iconic Blumhouse characters like M3GAN, the Babyface Killer from “Happy Death Day,” and Lady Liberty from “The Purge.” Their objective is to eliminate survivors before they successfully escape.

Beyond the main attraction “Survival Lockdown” game, the Blumhouse Horrorverse Meta Quest realm will also offer a “Werewolf Encounters” mini-game, shooting ranges inspired by “The Purge” series, and a spot to watch “select Blumhouse productions” in an exclusive screening area.

The “Blumhouse Horror Universe” is the newest horror offering that has been added to Meta Quest, alongside 29 other terrifying titles as part of Meta Quest’s Midway to Halloween celebration. This collection includes “Alien: Rogue Incursion,” “Arizona Sunshine 2,” “Cosmodread,” “Creepy Cabin,” “The Exorcist: VR Legion” and “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Assistance Wanted.
