Blue Archive Player Won’t Get Rewards After Event Canceled For Breaking Steam Rules

In response to concerns last week that the PC release of Blue Archive might violate Steam policies, Nexon has decided to cancel a contentious in-game activity. This event encouraged players to write reviews for Blue Archive on Steam, which goes against the rules outlined in the Steamworks manual. As part of this cancellation, no prizes accumulated by reaching the goal will be given out.

In a message on Steam’s news page for Blue Archive, Nexon explained that they organized an event and rewards for all Senseis as a means to enhance our services collaboratively, using your valuable input. However, while announcing the rewards linked to review submissions, we discovered some elements might violate platform policies. Consequently, we decided to end the event prematurely.

In accordance with our platform guidelines, we regret to inform you that the event rewards will not be distributed at this time.” Nexon assures us they will exercise more caution in organizing future events to avoid any potential policy violations and promises to enhance their services for players.

Last week, Blue Archive debuted on Steam and quickly drew in over 22,000 simultaneous players at its peak. In addition to hosting a reward event, it also garnered over 10,000 Steam user reviews. Even with the conclusion of the review event, this number has persistently increased. So far, the game maintains a highly favorable overall rating on Steam.
