Yet, it appears there was an inadvertent reveal in one of their latest advertisements suggesting a possible partnership between Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter might be in the works. Blizzard Drops the Combo: Street Fighter x Overwatch 2 Collab Leaked Early
Based on a since-removed advertisement on the PlayStation Network (preserved here by user NeoRaider of ResetEra), it appears that Overwatch 2 may have unintentionally disclosed a new partnership. The ad’s text suggested: “Mid-season enchantment prevails. Continue fighting in Stadium with a Street Fighter 6 collaboration and Dokiwatch Mythic Mercy Weapon Skin.
The upcoming collaboration between Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter 6 is set to drop during Season 16’s midpoint, as hinted on PSN. Characters like Chun-Li, Juri, Cammy, and possibly others could be appearing as crossover skins in the game.

Of course, the post was swiftly removed, but not before it garnered attention across the web. As of now, that’s all we know. However, considering Overwatch 2’s history of collaborating with various intellectual properties, it isn’t far-fetched to suggest that a partnership with Street Fighter—one of Capcom’s most successful franchises—might be a natural progression.
Sadly, there haven’t been any images released of the collaboration yet, leaving us in the dark about how Street Fighter’s unique aesthetic might be incorporated into the Overwatch universe. On a personal note, I’m quite excited at the prospect of a new Ramattra skin given his propensity for punching things!
