Pi Network’s first Open Network hackathon just wrapped up, and guess what? Blind_Lounge took home the gold, with a bunch of other apps earning some shiny tokens! 🎉 But before you get all excited, let’s just say-proceed with caution. There are some little things like bugs and risk disclaimers that the Core Team might want to remind you about. 🙄
you run, you earn. No treadmill necessary. 🏃♂️ They took home 15,000 PI tokens. That’s a lot of gaming, folks!
In the honorable mentions corner, we have Kindrek, Workflet For Pi, PallyPay, SimpleJoy, and Agora Pulse-each of them receiving 5,000 PI tokens for their efforts. We see you, social tools and payment platforms. 👀
The hackathon also included an optional check-in halfway through (because who doesn’t love a good progress report?), and ended on October 15. But the Core Team made sure to remind everyone: these apps might still be a little buggy as they evolve. Yeah, it’s a “community effort,” but… don’t say we didn’t warn you. 😅
So, while it’s all fun and games, just know that Pi Network isn’t officially responsible for anything that goes wrong with these apps. They’re like that cool aunt who throws the best parties but doesn’t clean up afterward. 😜 “Use at your own risk,” they said. You’ve been warned. 🚨
If you do run into issues, don’t bother the Core Team-they’re busy. Instead, head to the app’s reporting channels or the relevant community spaces. There’s always someone around to help-or make you feel worse about it. 😉
