In a conversation with People magazine, Gottlieb outlined their strategy for the trial, stating, “The most powerful moment for a plaintiff is testifying in court. We anticipate this will be true in Lively’s case, so we would naturally expect her to be a witness at her trial.” Gottlieb further hinted that other cast members from the set of “It Ends With Us” may also testify against Baldoni, citing their potential testimony as crucial for corroborating Lively’s claims and providing insight into the alleged misconduct on set. A revised complaint filed in February supports this assertion, as Lively mentioned that other actresses on set felt uncomfortable due to Baldoni’s questionable behavior.
Gottlieb argued that the subpoenas issued to Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman hold no bearing on the current case, which centers around Blake Lively’s allegations of sexual harassment on set.
