Black Ops 6’s busted damage has players losing their minds

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that Black Ops 6 has been a rollercoaster ride so far. The campaign and zombie modes are nothing short of exceptional, but the multiplayer leaves much to be desired.

To date, Black Ops 6 seems to be an advancement over the previous year’s Modern Warfare 3, yet there are areas that could use refinement, particularly in multiplayer mode, which some players have found to have certain problems.

As a dedicated fan, I must admit that Black Ops 6’s campaign and zombie modes have left me in awe, garnering near-unanimous acclaim. However, when it comes to the competitive multiplayer suite, the experience hasn’t been as smooth for me.

Since the game’s release on October 25, there has been an increasing number of reports about issues with damaged consistency and potential for spawn trapping and imbalance in maps similar to Babylon, causing concern among some players.

In the gaming world, I found myself engrossed in a heated debate about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on Reddit. One particular post caught my eye, garnering countless replies. I couldn’t help but chime in, “Hey folks, what’s up with the damage inconsistencies in this game?

In the TikTok video, a gamer demonstrates firing an entire magazine at an opponent yet miraculously not defeating them. This reminded him of several instances in his gaming experience where he felt as if he were losing his mind.

In response, one person said, “This issue has been persisting throughout the night,” as others recounted unusual incidents. “There’s clearly a problem. I fired an LMG at someone from quite a distance, hitting them roughly seven times in various parts of their upper body and head. Remarkably, they managed to shoot me three times in the head while taking cover, and I was instantly killed.

Many blamed the inconsistencies on net code and de-sync, prompting inevitable comparisons to XDefiant, which experienced similar issues.

Last night, I emptied a magazine into three individuals, but there were no hits recorded on my screen. Currently, it’s so problematic that I find it hard to distinguish between instances of cheating and the game, XDefiant, struggling significantly.

Only Treyarch or Activision can offer a legitimate explanation for the inconsistencies being noted, and we’ll revise this article should either party choose to speak up.

While I’m taking a break from completing the main campaign, diving into Black Ops 6’s Zombie mode seems like an exciting new challenge. If you’ve exhausted all the safe spots in the campaign, this could be your next gaming adventure!
