As a seasoned Zombies player who has weathered countless rounds of undead aggression, I must say, Treyarch’s latest move is a breath of fresh air. The Citadelle des Morts map, with its intricate questline and ancient setting, has been a challenging yet exhilarating adventure. However, the bugs that have plagued the experience were truly the bane of my existence.

The inability to retry one Mystic Orb challenge or losing all progress upon saving and quitting was not just frustrating but downright infuriating. But alas, Treyarch has heard our collective cries and extended the deadline for the early completion challenges to the end of Season 1. This gives us more time to navigate the labyrinthine quest without the specter of game-breaking bugs looming over us.

I must admit, I was initially skeptical about the Squid Game event, given the mixed reactions it’s received among Call of Duty fans. But if this extension is any indication, Treyarch seems to be listening and making adjustments based on player feedback. Now, if only they could do something about the price of that event pass… maybe a little in-game currency I’ve earned could go a long way there? After all, who doesn’t love a good deal from the undead arms dealer?

Treyarch has extended the deadline for players of the Zombies mode to claim their initial completion rewards for the Citadelle des Morts, following the addition of its guided play mode.

In Black Ops 6, each of the three Zombie maps offers intricate storylines for players to uncover and finish as they battle through endless waves of aggressive zombies. The newest map, “Citadelle des Morts,” is set within a medieval castle in the imaginary realm of Avalon.

Should you persistently work through the storyline of a Zombies map prior to the release of the specified game mode, you’ll encounter a unique challenge and receive a calling card as proof of your accomplishment.

As a devoted player, I was thrilled when Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Citadelle des Morts directed mode dropped on January 3rd. To make up for some technical glitches that had been hindering players from finishing the mission, Treyarch has graciously extended the deadline for completing the early completion challenge until the end of Season 1. This thoughtful gesture ensures that everyone has a fair chance to experience this exciting new mode!

Citadelle des Morts easter egg bugs were frustrating players

In Black Ops Zombies, the Citadelle des Morts mission was one of our most expansive yet, but its complexity was compounded by numerous glitches that halted player advancement altogether.

As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel frustrated when bugs like the ones in this game pop up and hinder my progress. It’s particularly annoying when I can’t retry a Mystic Orb challenge or when saving and quitting causes me to lose all my quest progress and precious items. The inability to drop the elemental swords only adds to the frustration. I understand that bugs are an inevitable part of gaming, but it’s disheartening when they persist for so long and impact my enjoyment of the game. I hope the developers address these issues quickly so that I can continue my adventure without any unnecessary obstacles.

In the spirit of undead awareness: The Directed Mode for Citadelle des Morts debuts on January 3rd at 9 AM PT. Fear not if you haven’t claimed your early completion bonuses just yet!

This update will also bring some essential Main Quest fixes, so we’re pushing back the deadline to the conclusion of Season 01. đź‘Š

Treyarch is pushing back the deadline for the early completion challenges until the conclusion of Season 1, which falls on January 28, as a means of addressing some existing bugs.

You still must complete the main quest in standard mode to get the rewards.

The “Citadelle des Morts” update in Black Ops 6, featuring the Squid Game event, includes the directed mode and bug fixes. However, this update has sparked varied responses among Call of Duty enthusiasts, as many have expressed dissatisfaction with the cost of the event pass.
