Black Ops 6 Warzone Season 1 quality-of-life changes explained

In the most recent version of Warzone, you have the option to either activate the Sprinter Perk or employ your personal melee weapon for continuous tactical sprinting. Moreover, Raven Software has taken player suggestions into account and extended the default tac-sprint duration from two seconds to eight seconds.

In Season 1, they’ve taken away the Mountaineer Perk that lessens fall damage. Without this perk, the length of the shock impact when falling from a height close to death has been shortened from 3 seconds to 2.1 seconds, and now, you need a minimum of 55% fall damage (previously 50%) before experiencing the shock effect upon landing. This change allows for slightly more daring jumps with reduced penalties.

In the earlier version of Warzone, live pings were considered too powerful since they allowed players to locate enemies and even shoot through smoke after marking them. Recognizing this issue, the development team adjusted the live ping time, shortening it from three seconds to just two seconds.

Now, it’ll be more convenient for players to put on armor plates since the rate at which they can swap out damaged or missing ones has been boosted by 8%.

Furthermore, Trophy Systems provide protection against Bunker Buster missiles entering buildings, while Reinforcement Flares are deployed 30% quicker.

In summary, Self-Revive items will automatically pick up from fallen teammates nearby, doors can now be broken down by gunfire, and the health threshold for entering a near-death state has decreased from 50% to 35%.
