As a long-time Call of Duty fanatic, I find myself utterly captivated by the story of Redditor Pilgore and his “pacifist” approach to Black Ops 6 multiplayer. This gentleman has managed to Prestige without so much as a single kill, a feat that leaves me in awe.
In a roundabout way, one gamer playing Black Ops 6 achieved the Prestige rank without registering a single kill, having refined a strategy known as peaceful or pacifist playstyle.
Players of Call of Duty have adjusted comfortably to Black Ops 6, the latest addition to the cherished series, which is packed with fresh material for fans to explore and enjoy.
Just as anticipated, dedicated gamers haven’t hesitated to grind their way up to Prestige, solidifying themselves as formidable figures in the game’s battleground.
Achieving Prestige in Black Ops 6 can be done primarily through excelling in multiplayer games, often requiring numerous kills. However, an exceptional player managed to accomplish this prestigious feat without a single kill, by earning as much XP as possible in other ways.
Initially, Reddit user Pilgore disclosed their exceptional strategy for the Prestige mode within the platform. The post garnered instant attention, and other Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 enthusiasts praised it as an “amazing” accomplishment.
Pacifism will always be a legitimate strategy. Prestige 1

In addition to the title, “Pacifism remains a valid approach”, Pilgore showcased his in-game statistics upon achieving Prestige 1, demonstrating that he had attained this level while maintaining a kill-death ratio of 0.00 after playing 111 games.
However, it’s puzzling how he managed to secure the victory at Prestige without claiming a single enemy kill. In a detailed explanation given to IGN, he shared his strategies one by one.
Above all else, he prioritizes playing with the goal in mind during the entire game. Additionally, he frequently employs the Spy Cam Tactical gear and Scrambler Field Upgrade, which helps him earn points consistently.
From there, he summons his three Scorestreak rewards – UAV, CUAV, and HARP – whenever they become accessible for extra points. The key strategy to his “peaceful” gameplay is to neutralize any adversary’s scorestreaks as soon as they are activated in each match.
It’s not new for Pilgore to traverse this path in a Call of Duty game. In reality, he has successfully reached Prestige level in Cold War, Vanguard, and Modern Warfare 3 by using similar strategies.
Speaking candidly, Pilgore shared that he found the way he was playing so engaging that he continued without pause. After racking up an impressive 51 prestige levels, he’s grown more cautious and explained that instead of using decoys, he now relies on Spy Cam for a safer gameplay experience.
Contrary to what one might expect, failing to secure a kill won’t hinder your XP gain or prolong your journey towards Prestige. Instead, as Pilgmore pointed out, earning XP through these methods is more effective than you’d imagine.
He stated, “I always manage to secure at least 7,000 points per match, and my strategies haven’t varied much throughout the years. I’ve tried out various equipment setups, but the fundamental way I play hasn’t changed significantly.
After being queried about possibly altering his strategy for Call of Duty gaming sessions, Pilgore shared that he plans to continue playing until he manages to get a kill or becomes uninterested.
