As a long-time Call of Duty fan with countless hours spent on Warzone, I can’t help but feel a sense of deja vu when yet another “pay to lose” weapon blueprint surfaces. It seems like a recurring theme that’s becoming more frequent than the dreaded Roze skin or the infamous Mac-10 Gallantry blueprint.

Players of Black Ops 6 are once again upset due to discovering a “pay-to-lose” weapon design in Warzone, as they feel this feature is unfair.

For several years now, Call of Duty has been progressively delving further into the realm of multiplayer bundles and additional content. This includes a variety of items you can purchase such as unique weapon designs, new character sets, custom sprays, and much more.

These additional features aren’t intended to provide any significant edge over others. Yet, certain “premium advantages” like the Roze skin and the Mac-10 Gallantry blueprint have left quite an impression, lingering in people’s minds.

As a gamer, I’ve come across some “pay-to-lose” deals now and then. These usually include cosmetic operator skins that make me shine like a beacon in the darkness, but unfortunately, this trend has seeped into the weapon blueprints as well.

Warzone’s Occult blueprint blocks iron sights

Lately, gamers have found out that equipping the Optic on Black Ops 6’s Salutations BlackCell blueprint for the Saug weapon results in the skin obstructing their shooting accuracy.

It appears that yet another issue has arisen with the Occult blueprint for the PP-919, and the gaming community is quite frustrated about it. User Ok-Agency3679 even expressed their discontent by saying, “Couldn’t they have double-checked before releasing it?” after demonstrating a video of the blueprint obstructing the iron sights.

“Literally pay to lose lmao,” one player quickly replied.

Don’t they ever check what they release??

A user commented, “No quality assurance. Players aren’t learning, and the developers who produce this subpar work won’t care about you.” Another joined in, saying, “The quality decreased because people continue to buy it. Stop purchasing, and they wouldn’t release such low-quality products.

It was proposed that developers allow players to try on skins within the Practice Range prior to making a purchase decision.

That task is quite extensive and carries a high risk of creating loopholes, which could potentially enable gamers to acquire the skins without payment.
