Best Solo Classes in Dungeonborne

As a seasoned adventurer and a proud Dungeonborne player with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the Fighter class is a force to be reckoned with in the world of solo play. With my trusty two-handed sword in hand, I’ve faced countless enemies and emerged victorious time and time again.

In Dungeonborne, you have the freedom to play your preferred character whether you’re playing on your own or with a team. However, it is essential to note that not all characters carry equal power. In this article, I will discuss and explain why the following four classes are ideal for solo Dungeonborne players:

Best Solo PvP & PvPvE Classes in Dungeonborne

Death Knight

Best Solo Classes in Dungeonborne

Active Q Skill: Soul Shroud

Active E Skill: Grasp of the Grave

Best Passive Skills: Grim Harvest, Life Steal, Soul Cage

Main Weapon: Mace and shield

The Death Knight is a powerful figure capable of dishing out and enduring substantial damage. Armed with a mace and a shield, this character inflicts significant harm on adversaries while reducing the amount they receive in return. By wielding the mace to strike enemies and safeguarding themselves with the shield, the Death Knight effectively balances offense and defense. To draw an enemy closer, employ Grasp of the Grave. Once near, engage Soul Shroud, raising your shield as you attack with your mace. Should your mace not prove fatal, the ongoing damage inflicted by Soul Shroud will eventually claim the victim.

As a seasoned Death Knight player, I can’t stress enough the importance of mastering each of these three essential passive abilities for optimal gameplay.

The Death Knight’s combination of shield, passive skills, and robust stats make it nearly invulnerable to both player and monster attacks. Whereas other characters might be quickly defeated in intense battles against powerful foes like werewolves, the Death Knight remains unscathed due to its reduced damage intake from the Soul Cage passive. Moreover, its other passive abilities enable it to restore health and Soul Energy naturally, sparing valuable resources that could otherwise be used in combat with enemy players. Essentially, the Death Knight’s build offers a formidable mix of resilience and offense, resembling the healing capabilities of a Priest class, coupled with the striking power of a Swordmaster.

Druid

Best Solo Classes in Dungeonborne

Active Q Skill: Primal Awakening (Human) / Revert (Panther)

Active E Skill: Force of Nature (Human) / Shadow Assault (Panther)

Best Passive Skills: Predatory Senses, Seed Pods

Main Weapon: Any fire staff

I deeply enjoy the Druid Class due to its versatility in both solo and group play. The Q skill allows them to transform between their human and panther forms. In human form, they can summon a mighty Treant to shield an area, strike with weapons, and hide in Stealth mode by crouching. As panthers, they have quick mobility and can dart in and out of fights. Additionally, they possess the Predatory Senses passive ability that lets them detect enemies beyond their line of sight. Utilize weapons to clear a room, then shift into panther form for swift movement and surveillance. When under attack, especially in confined spaces, invoke the Treant to eliminate foes while inflicting damage yourself.

Druids are versatile in wielding both thunder and fire staves effectively. Personally, I prefer fire as it reaches farther and enables me to target opponents while they’re on the move. The Predatory Senses passive is ideal, but Seed Pods is a decent alternative since it provides an additional Force of Nature charge. This bonus will strengthen your defense against bosses, adversaries, and swarms of enemies, enhancing your ability to manage battles more effectively. The Druid’s offensive, defensive, and reconnaissance skills merge to form a tactical character, empowering you to lead engagements more confidently than other classes. This advantage over solo players will enable you to initiate and exit encounters with greater ease.

Fighter

Best Solo Classes in Dungeonborne

Active Q Skill: Whirlwind

Active E Skill: Charge

Passive Skills: Hamstring, Vengeful Riposte, Weapon Mastery

Main Weapon: Two-handed sword

The Fighter is known for his role as the quintessential dungeon explorer. To maximize the potential of your “Whirlwind” Q move, ensure that your primary or secondary weapon is a two-handed sword. By integrating “Whirlwind” with the benefits of “Hamstring” and “Weapon Mastery” passive skills, you’ll acquire a shield while using this ability, as well as slowing down enemies during the attack. Caught off guard, adversaries will be powerless against this formidable assault.

To ensure a critical strike following a defensive action against an enemy attack, activate the third passive skill called “Vengeful Riposte.” This is particularly beneficial when wielding a Mace and a Shield as your secondary weapons, allowing you to swing the Mace while shielding with it. The “Charge” ability is another useful skill for charging into battles, pursuing fleeing enemies, or creating some space to consume a health potion. Lower-ranked players may struggle against a Fighter’s offensive capabilities, especially their Whirlwind attack. However, as you progress and obtain strong gear, master the right passive skills, and hone your ability usage, you will continue to excel in combat.

Swordmaster

Best Solo Classes in Dungeonborne

Active Q Skill: Psionic Blades

Active E Skill: Whirling Blade

Passive Skills: Deflection, Healing Scabbard

Weapon: One-handed swords

The Swordmaster is an efficient fighter in solo situations, contrasting their performance in a team. Being an elf, they have the knack of hiding in Stealth mode by crouching, which lasts unless they move. One-handed swords are their preferred weapons and the source of their abilities. To conserve one-handed swords, it would be wise to equip them with a two-handed sword or a crossbow as a secondary weapon. Their agility makes them suitable for starting duels, while Whirling Blades and their dual sword wield enable them to inflict damage on enemies swiftly following them.

The “Whirling Blades” ability, which falls under the E skill category, uses up one of your one-handed swords and causes it to revolve around you, striking enemies repeatedly as they come into contact with it, inflicting damage. Enhance this ability with the “Deflection” passive for an added layer of protection: during the eight seconds that Whirling Blades is active, you’ll take 50% less damage, providing ample time to dish out substantial harm to a single enemy while evading potentially lethal attacks. Your Q skill, named “Psionic Blades,” brings forth swords that assault enemies on their own accord. You can summon anywhere from one to four of these spectral swords, with the same number corresponding to the number of sword slots in your inventory. Incorporate the “Healing Scabbard” passive for an additional bonus: every time your Psionic Blades connect with an enemy without being obstructed, you’ll be restored by 30 health points.

As a seasoned Swordmaster with years of training and battlefield experience under my belt, I can confidently assert that my agility and might make me a formidable adversary for any solo player. The Whirling Blades I wield are a relentless force to be reckoned with, dealing consistent damage in every encounter. These blades are not just swift, but also hard to defend against due to their unpredictability and the quick succession of strikes from my dual swords.
