Best Lethal and Tactical Equipment in Black Ops 6 Beta

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of Call of Duty under my belt, I must say that Black Ops 6 has truly outdone itself in terms of equipment variety. The Lethal and Tactical Equipment in this game are nothing short of game-changers!

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, there are a variety of gadgets that you can add to your loadout besides your guns. The most important ones are Lethal and Tactical Equipment that you can use to disorient or even take out enemies. Here’s a ranked list of the best Lethals and Tacticals in BO6 Beta.

Best Lethal Equipment in Black Ops 6 Beta

Given its title, Lethal Equipment is designed for inflicting harm on opponents. With proper usage, it has the potential to deliver a single, fatal blow.

1. Sticky Grenade

Similarly referred to as a Semtex, the Sticky Grenade adheres to any surface upon being thrown before detonating after a brief interval. The beeping noise it emits can alert enemies but due to its quick explosion, they may still sustain harm if not eliminated. If an adversary is stuck by this lethal device, there’s no possibility of rescue.

2. Combat Axe

In Black Ops 6, instead of hurling knives, I get to wield throwing axes! These deadly Lethals can be aimed at an opponent and tossed for an immediate kill if they’re hit anywhere on their body. What’s more, these axes can be retrieved once thrown, allowing me to pick them back up from where they landed. Plus, a Combat Axe has the ability to bounce off surfaces, giving me a good chance of landing a lucky kill if it does!

3. Frag

Any Call of Duty game is incomplete without the good ol’ Frag Grenade. These are timed fragmentation grenades that can roll on the surface and damage the enemies within its blast radius. A Frag is also cookable, which means you can hold it your hands for a short while and throw to surprise the enemy with an instant explosion. If you deploy it immediately, there’s a chance the enemy can toss it back at you. Try throwing it across the map to get some satisfying kills right when the match begins.

4. Thermo Grenade

After being launched, the Thermo Grenade releases a flame-producing gas cloud which detonates following a brief time span. Additionally, it scorches the ground with a fire-tracing residue that inflicts damage upon any adversary crossing over it. While I personally don’t prefer this gear due to superior alternatives, I encourage you to experiment with it at your own discretion.

5. Blast Trap

Blast Traps are proximity triggered explosive devices that blow up when an enemy comes within its range. It may not always work if the enemy spots the Blast Trap and avoids it completely by going around. These will be great for game modes like Hardpoint and Domination where you need to defend the captured objective.

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve come to appreciate the value of Tactical Equipment not just for its name, but for the strategic advantage it offers under the right circumstances. Seasoned players often employ these tools to outmaneuver opponents, either by creating confusion or by quickly preparing themselves for another round of combat following a skirmish.

1. Stim Shot

A Stim Shot restores any lost health immediately and rejuvenates your quick movement ability called tactical sprint. Since this game (Black Ops 6) features a versatile movement system known as omnimovement, Stim Shots become very useful in the game. If you find yourself low on health with enemies approaching, use the Stim Shot to recover your health. Even if you don’t need the health boost, you can still use it to sprint past opponents by activating your tactical sprint.

2. Flashbang

Flashbangs are back and are just as useful as the previous games. Affected enemies get blinded and you can use this opportunity to take them out while they’re disoriented. It’s most effective when you’re trying to clear out rooms and capture points in modes like Hardpoint; however the enemy may have a Trophy System Field Upgrade planted that can destroy your flash grenade.

3. Prox Alarm

The Prox Alarm is a novel tactical tool I’ve found enjoyable in my leisure activities. These adhesive alarms can be attached to any surface you wish to monitor. Once an adversary approaches its vicinity, the device will emit sounds and flashes, signaling their presence to you. Enemies detected in this way also show up on your teammates’ mini-maps, making the Prox Alarm a valuable piece of equipment.

4. Concussion

Just like flashbangs, concussion grenades confuse opponents by impeding their movement and targeting abilities rather than causing blindness. I tend to opt for flash grenades over stun grenades due to the fact that the former entirely obstructs information on the enemy’s display. In certain situations when using a Concussion, your aim-assist may lock onto you, resulting in your demise even with a tactical advantage, so exercise caution and avoid their line of sight.

5. Decoy

The Sticky Decoy Grenade mimics enemy footsteps and gunfire noises with the intention of confusing opponents. However, it’s only effective against inexperienced players. Despite having limited tactical value, these decoys are often employed for easy experience points (XP). Any kills your teammates secure near a Decoy that you’ve thrown will earn you assist points, which can accelerate the leveling up of your weapons quickly.
