Best Jane Build – Drive Discs And W-Engines In ZZZ

I have been a dedicated fan of ZZZ since its inception, and I can confidently say that Jane Doe is one of the most exciting characters to join the game. With her unique abilities, she truly stands out as a Physical Anomaly character. Among all the W-Engines available for Jane Doe, my personal favorite has to be Sharpened Stinger – it’s like a well-honed blade that keeps on slicing through the competition!

This article is a guide focused on building the character, Jane Doe, who recently joined Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) version 1.1. Whether you currently own Jane or are considering purchasing her, this guide will walk you through an optimal build strategy for her, covering aspects such as Drive Discs, W-Engines, and additional details

Jane Doe can be found at ZZZ up to September 24, 2024. It’s advisable to acquire her during the rate-up period, as if you miss it, you will have to wait some time before she becomes available again

Best Jane Doe W-Engine

Here are the best W-Engines that players can equip on Jane Doe:

1. Sharpened Stinger (S-Rank)

Jane Doe’s distinctive W-Engine is known as the Sharpened Stinger, which amplifies her Physical Damage output significantly and boosts Anomaly Buildup Rate at peak stats. With her gameplay focused on Dash Attacks, it’s relatively simple for her to accumulate maximum stacks using this W-Engine

2. Fusion Compiler (S-Rank)

For Jane Doe, the W-Engine functions as an effective substitute. It boosts her attack power and grants extra Anomaly Proficiency when she executes a Special or EX Special Attack. However, it’s worth noting that Grace Howard also uses the Fusion Compiler as her Signature W-Engine, so using it on Jane Doe might be more beneficial

3. Electro-Lip Gloss (A-Rank)

For Jane Doe, this A-Rank W-Engine offers an advantage: it boosts her attack when an enemy acquires Attribute Anomaly, and enhances the damage she inflicts on them. Furthermore, it improves her Anomaly Proficiency. However, do note that the Electro-Lip Gloss is a battle pass W-Engine, meaning players will need to invest in it with real money

4. Rainforest Gourmet (A-Rank)

With the W-Engine, Jane Doe gains extra Attack Power each time she uses Energy, also enhancing her Anomaly Expertise. However, it’s crucial to note that the boost in attack power is directly linked to her Energy Consumption. This implies that if Jane Doe wants to consistently benefit from this buff, she should have efficient Energy Regeneration abilities

5. [Magnetic Storm] Alpha (B-Rank)

For Jane Doe, this free-to-play choice comes equipped with the W-Engine. This engine facilitates a quicker accumulation of the enemy’s Anomaly due to the Anomaly Mastery boost. Moreover, it provides an extra attack power for Jane Doe

Best Jane Doe Drive Disc

Here are the best Drive Discs for Jane Doe

1. 4-Piece Fanged Metal, 2-Piece Freedom Blues

Fanged Metal serves as the standard Drive Disc for physically-oriented characters, boosting their physical attack power. Furthermore, whenever a player triggers an Assault on the enemy, Jane Doe will deal extra damage to that target. Lastly, Freedom Blues enhances Jane Doe’s Anomaly expertise

2. 4-Piece Freedom Blues, 2-Piece Fanged Metal

Players have another option: They can equip Jane Doe with the standard Anomaly Drive Disc set, which boosts her Anomaly Proficiency and allows her to lessen Anomaly Buildup Resistance whenever she employs her EX Special Attack. Additionally, the Fanged Metal provides extra Physical Damage for Jane Doe

As an alternative, players can opt for Hormone Punk instead of Fanged Metal, boosting their Attack power, if they don’t possess the Fanged Metal Drive Discs

Best Jane Doe Builds

Premium Build

W-Engine – Sharpened Stinger

Drive Disc – 4-Piece Fanged Metal, 2-Piece Freedom Blues

Bangboo – Bangvolver or Plugboo

Team – Jane Doe, Nekomata, Seth or Jane Doe, Grace Howard, Rina

Jane Doe has two high-tier squads she could use. Pairing her with Nekomata and Seth emphasizes offense, as Nekomata’s EX Special Attack Damage boosts when Assault is triggered. Since Assault can be frequently imposed due to Seth’s extra skill that decreases the Anomaly Buildup Resistance of enemies whenever he attacks basicly

Instead, Grace Howard and Rina primarily concentrate on subduing opponents using Disorder damage. Their gameplay strategy involves applying either Assault or Shock to the enemy initially, followed by activating the secondary effect. This sequence triggers Disorder damage, which can swiftly weaken enemies

Currently, Jane Doe can only team up with Grace or Piper for Disorder teams, as there’s no other Anomaly character available at this time besides them

F2P Build

W-Engine – [Magnetic Storm] Alpha P5

Drive Disc – 4-Piece Fanged Metal, 2-Piece Freedom Blues

Bangboo – Magnetiboo

Team – Jane Doe, Seth, Anby

This choice offers a free-to-play experience, utilizing characters and W-Engines that players may already possess. Characters Seth and Jane Doe can trigger each other’s Extra Skills, enabling them to swiftly inflict Anomalies on adversaries. Anby is the free-to-play character who specializes in stunning enemies with his attacks, making him a versatile addition to many teams

That’s all for our guide on the best W-Engine, Drive Disc, and team build for Jane Doe in ZZZ. ZZZ is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC via the Epic Games Store and the official client.
