Best Field Upgrades in Black Ops 6 Beta

As a seasoned CoD veteran with countless hours spent in the boots of Black Ops characters, I can confidently say that the Field Upgrades in Black Ops 6 Beta have brought a new level of strategy and excitement to the battlefield.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta has arrived, and you might be pondering about the devices and tools that could give you an edge over your adversaries. While the BO6 Beta offers only a limited selection of these items, I’ve organized them in order of effectiveness to help you decide which ones to employ. Here are all the Field Upgrades ranked from best to worst.

Best Field Upgrades in Black Ops 6 Beta

Field Upgrades are powerful devices with a cooldown and recharge once used over time. Some of these equipment have a short recharge time, while others take longer to replenish. The following rankings are based on my opinion; however, every player may have their own favorite Field Upgrade that will work best for their playstyle, so make sure to experiment and try new things.

1. Assault Pack

Players of MW3 might recognize this item as the Munitions Box. Dropping the Supply Pack enables you and your teammates to restock on ammo, lethal, and tactical gear. Regardless of the game mode you’re engaged in, ammunition is always crucial, particularly when aiming for a high kill count. Consequently, I believe the Supply Pack is one of the most effective Field Upgrade options to employ during the Black Ops 6 Beta.

2. Trophy System

An age-old Shield Mechanism designed to intercept incoming explosives such as grenades, flashbangs, and rockets prior to detonation. This device is widely employed among Call of Duty players, particularly in strategic game modes like Hardpoint, since its activation is crucial for tactical play. Position the shield within the capture zone, thereby rendering enemy equipment useless against you. However, be mindful that a Shield Mechanism can only deflect a certain number of projectiles before it gets destroyed or disabled.

3. Sleeper Agent

As a gamer, I’ve found the Sleeper Agent Field Upgrade to be quite fun to use. Activating it makes me temporarily blend in with the opposing team, allowing me to get close for stealth takedowns. However, it’s important to remember that my movements and gunfire might still give me away on their intelligence devices such as UAVs or alert them via my shots. So, while it offers a sneaky advantage, staying hidden isn’t guaranteed.

4. Neurogas

At a chosen spot, you can set up the Neurogas Field Enhancement Trap. When activated, it discharges a noxious gas fog that momentarily impairs enemy vision and gradually weakens them. It’s an effective strategic tool to momentarily deter enemies from accessing or exiting a specific zone for a brief period.

5. Acoustic Amp

In Modern Warfare 3, there’s a permanent perk called Bone Conduction Headset that makes footstep sounds louder. On the other hand, in Black Ops 6, there’s an item called Acoustic Amp, which functions as a temporary field upgrade. This device enhances enemy footsteps for easy tracking. However, I find other field upgrades in Black Ops 6 to be more beneficial compared to the Acoustic Amp.
