In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it’s no surprise that combat plays a significant role, but if you prefer a more subtle approach, stealth is an option. Your success in stealth relies largely on your ability to move quietly and unnoticed, but your choice of attire also makes a big difference.
When it comes to selecting the optimal stealth attire, it’s not quite as straightforward as picking up defensive gear or charismatic clothing, because you must carefully balance three specific stealth attributes. Additionally, the color of your clothing also plays a crucial role. If you aspire to become an expert thief, remember that sometimes simplicity is key. So, what kind of garments should you don for a successful stealth operation?
7.
Pickpocket’s Hat
Cap
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, many characters’ heads will be covered – a detail you might not notice on your own unless it’s highlighted. Apart from significant characters involved in the plot, most Non-Player Characters (NPCs) can be seen wearing various types of headgear.
To blend in more effectively and stay less noticeable, consider wearing a cap as it can help reduce your visibility. Any low-key accessory, such as a dark hat, is generally preferable to none at all. However, the most suitable choice for stealth would be the Pickpocket’s Hat. This item is easily obtainable since Miller Kreyzl occasionally stocks it and it comes at an affordable price.
6.
Wanderer’s Hood
Hood

As a gamer, I might initially think my jacket is the key to maintaining a low profile in-game, but given that Henry wears a hood, which conceals much of his upper body, it’s equally crucial to factor in the hood’s influence on stealth too.
This item is frequently encountered during the early stages of gameplay, yet it remains useful even in the later stages if you manage to obtain a Dark Wanderer’s Hood. Its usefulness lies in its stealth capabilities, making it one of the least noticeable clothing options due to its common occurrence. Additionally, it doesn’t significantly add to noise or visibility, making it a practical choice for maintaining a low profile.
5.
Robber Baron’s Aketon
Gambeson

If you aim for stealth during most of the game, it might be wiser to forego wearing a gambeson beneath your outer garments due to the amount of noise they may produce.
Once you reach the Kuttenberg area, that’s where you’ll find the Robber Baron’s Aketon. The innkeeper at the Devil’s Den, much like Miller Kreyzl from Trosky, keeps some valuable items for thievery. Among these are the Robber Baron’s Aketon, previously owned by a former thief/noble, which is hands down the top choice for stealth clothing.
4.
Vagrant’s Coat
Coat

If you can locate a concealed gambeson (a type of armor), you could possibly forego a coat, especially if the one you have isn’t sufficiently dark. These pieces of clothing are typically quite noticeable and will also amplify the sound in your outfit.
Consequently, if you stumble upon a Vagrant’s Coat in the dark, don’t hesitate to put it in your stealth outfit right away, as it effectively conceals much of Henry’s body. Moreover, this coat is known for being relatively quiet and inconspicuous compared to other options.
3.
Knacker’s Gloves
Gloves

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, before going to a wedding early on, you’ll face a decision: whether to aid the Miller or the Blacksmith. Although assisting both offers the richest experience and tutorial guidance, if you’re leaning towards stealthy gameplay, it would be wiser to side with the Miller.
The disguise provided by Miller in the beginning of the game is suitable for the initial stages, but as you progress with his side missions, Ignatius the gravedigger will give you the Knacker’s Gloves as a reward. These dark gloves produce minimal noise and completely conceal Henry’s pale hands, making them ideal for stealth operations.
2.
Noble’s Quilted Hose
Padded Hose

When assembling a top-tier stealth ensemble, many choices consist of affordable garments typically donned by everyday folk. However, bucking this trend is the Hose, where the Noble’s Quilted Hose stands out as an exceptional choice.
Stealth outfits usually include common, cheap clothes, but the Hose is different. The Noble’s Quilted Hose is a high-quality exception.
This armor stands out for several reasons: it’s cushioned for minimal noise, available in dark hues for concealment, and it enhances Henry’s speed, handy when needing to swiftly disappear. Although pricier, it’s a wise investment if aiming for a comprehensive stealth ensemble.
1.
Soft Boots
Shoes

When you complete your stealth configuration and find yourself at the footwear section, it might seem convenient to grab any dark item nearby. But, beware! Shoes are often among the noisiest components in your setup. Therefore, it’s advisable to avoid this shortcut.
Because many shoes tend to have hard and noisy soles, Soft Boots stand out as a desirable choice due to their rarity in this regard. What makes them particularly appealing is their design that prevents them from squeaking, which makes them ideal for a stealthy heist within the game.
