As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the latest updates on the Bendy franchise have sent a thrill down my spine. The Bendy Movie finding its director and the tentative 2025 release date for The Cage have me more excited than a kid on Christmas morning!
This Halloween season, there’s plenty of exciting news for the Bendy franchise! You can expect some official announcements concerning both the Bendy Movie and the upcoming game, The Cage. The director for the Bendy and the Ink Machine movie has been confirmed, with an announcement expected to be made this Halloween – while Bendy: The Cage is currently slated for a 2025 release.
As a passionate fan, I can’t help but reminisce about the thrilling announcement back in July by the creative genius behind the Bendy series, TheMeatly. He teased us with the promise of “big things” coming for the Bendy movie. Fast-forward to August, and my excitement reached new heights as TheMeatly confirmed the Bendy Movie was indeed progressing, under the leadership of a highly acclaimed and brilliant director. I can hardly wait to see what this mastermind has in store for us!

Regarding The Cage, developers express that they are now approaching the forthcoming game with renewed vigor and enthusiasm, and fans might anticipate a launch in the coming year.
Previously this year, it became apparent that “Bendy: The Cage” wasn’t evolving as planned according to our expectations. Although the core concept was strong, we weren’t capturing the desired atmosphere within the game. To recharge our creative juices and bring new ideas to the table, we chose to pause development for a few months to focus on other Bendy projects. This decision proved beneficial, as it sparked fresh inspiration for this very game.
