Ben Stiller Soft-Launches Severance Season 3 to the Kelce Brothers

Twice in a fortnight, entertainers have shared insights about their hit Apple TV+ series. Earlier, Jason Sudeikis revealed on March 14 that Ted Lasso would return for a fourth season, featuring Ted coaching a women’s team. More recently, Ben Stiller, during an episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast New Heights on March 19, hinted at the return of Severance for a third season and suggested a shorter wait this time around, implying an announcement about the specifics might be coming soon. It seems Apple TV+ series and the Kelce brothers have a special connection!

Stiller elaborated on the delay for season two: “We encountered a writers’ and actors’ strike, which set us back a bit. We eventually resumed production after that, filming for 186 days in total. Editing takes time, but thankfully our audience was patient and eagerly awaited our return. The wait added to the anticipation.” However, according to Puck on April 27, 2023, the delay was due to conflicts between show creator Dan Erickson and executive producer Mark Friedman, a claim Stiller didn’t explicitly deny. In an interview with The Interview on January 11, he acknowledged challenges but downplayed their significance: “It wasn’t always smooth sailing. We faced periods of difficulty, but these were due to everyone striving for the best possible outcome. There were issues that arose, but they weren’t significant.” So, rest assured, our beloved goats will be returning soon!
