Beloved ‘Friday the 13th’ Star Lar Park Lincoln Dies at 63

Tragically, Lar Park Lincoln, who played the “final girl” on Friday the 13th and starred in Knots Landing, has passed away at the age of 63. The news was shared on Facebook by Actors Audition Studios, the Dallas-based company she founded to help aspiring actors make it in Hollywood. Lincoln was particularly remembered by horror fans as Tina Shepard from Friday the 13th Part VII, a character known for her telekinetic abilities that presented Jason Voorhees with an unprecedented challenge.

With deep regret, we share that Lar Park Lincoln, a renowned actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios, and cherished Audition Coach in the U.S., passed away on April 22, 2025. Over the course of her 45-year career, Lar made an indelible impact on Hollywood with her powerful performances and commitment to nurturing budding actors.

Lar, a Dallas entrepreneur, established Actors Audition Studios and published Get Started, Not Scammed. In television, she’s known for her unforgettable five-year stint playing dual characters on Knots Landing with Michele Lee and William Devane, as well as her gripping lead role in Children of the Night alongside Kathleen Quinlan and Mario Van Peebles. Lar’s work in entertainment was recognized with a Bronze Halo Award, and she is particularly remembered for her chilling portrayal of the telekinetic ‘scream queen’ Tina Sheppard in Friday the 13th Part VII.

Apart from her acting endeavors, it’s worth noting that Lincoln authored a book titled “Get Started, Not Scammed“, published in 2008. This book leverages her over two decades of industry experience to provide genuine advice for parents, aspiring actors, and seasoned professionals navigating the Hollywood scene. Regrettably, no information was shared about her passing. She leaves behind her daughter Piper, son Trevor, sister Karen, brother Michael, and grandchildren Aura, Benjamin, Jack, and Mia Grace.
