The fun lasts until an unexpected guest appears – your ex, who happens to be your boyfriend’s brother. It seems like men come equipped with a mechanism that always manages to disrupt at the most inconvenient moments. As we approach the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, Belly (Lola Tung) finds herself in the early stages of a romantic relationship with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). The sweet melodies of Taylor Swift’s “Daylight” accompany their blossoming love until… Conrad (Christopher Briney) enters the scene, potentially rekindling Belly’s Red era. But if you’re a die-hard fan of the book series, be prepared for unexpected twists. As showrunner Jenny Han hints, “There are going to be surprises. There are things they know, things they think they know, and then there will be, hopefully, things that surprise them.” Here’s hoping for a tune from Reputation (TV).
