Considering Moriana serves as the antagonist in her own story, it’s not unexpected that this development could spell trouble for the denizens of the underworld, as she aims to conquer one circle at a time.
Title Update: “Welcome to the Underworld” introduces the challenging level of Hell, potentially Moriana’s toughest test yet. The freshly unveiled trailer below previews Moriana’s descent into Hell, where she encounters the Devil himself. This sneak peek offers a closer look at what lies ahead in this infernal realm. In her journey, Moriana and her undead troops must defeat new foes and navigate through the treacherous perils of the underworld. Whirlwinds of fire, bubbling lava pits, and explosive volcanoes are among the obstacles between Moriana and her fate.
It appears that Moriana derives strength from death, transforming any slain foe into a fresh recruit for her forces. Interestingly, there are no prerequisites or exams to join this army; if Moriana manages to eliminate it, she gains control over the fallen, whether they’re ordinary soldiers or explosive creatures like an exploding sheep. However, keep in mind that Moriana is not invulnerable and can be defeated in battle. Yet, each defeat seems only to fuel her determination for retribution.
Welcome! You’re now equipped with additional enchantments for Moriana, such as a novel skill tree mechanism to boost her minions and an assortment of new abilities like Frost Nova, Frost Bolt, and Blizzard. These potent spells are indispensable not just in Hell, but also further beyond.
The game “Be My Horde” on Steam remains in its early access phase, yet it’s offering a short-term 20% reduction in price to celebrate the release of “Welcome to Hell,” available as of today.
