The beach is crowded, but luckily there are lots of lifeguards on duty. Fox is trying to revive Baywatch again – after a movie starring Zac Efron – and this time, TikTok stars will be playing the roles. Noah Beck, known from some Tubi films, will play Luke, a lifeguard whose family are firefighters. Will he struggle between following his family’s path or pursuing his dream of working by the ocean, similar to High School Musical? He looks up to Hobie Buchannon, the team leader and son of the original Mitch Buchannon (played by Stephen Amell), as a father figure and guide.
Beck isn’t the only new face joining the cast! Brooks Nader, known for her role on Love Thy Nader, will be making her first scripted TV appearance as Selene, a skilled lifeguard at Zuma Beach who often clashes with Hobie. The show also stars Hassie Harrison (Yellowstone), Jessica Belkin, David Chokachi, and Thaddeus LaGrone. The story centers around Hobie’s daughter, Charlie, who unexpectedly arrives to work alongside the team and carry on the Buchannon family tradition. The series, consisting of twelve episodes, is scheduled to premiere during the 2026-2027 television season, so start preparing your red swimwear!
