Battlefield 6 Season 1 patch overhauls movement, weapon balance, and visuals

Electronic Arts has released a significant update for Battlefield 6 (version 1.1.1.0), preparing the game for the arrival of Season 1 later this week.

A new update will be released on Tuesday, October 28th, bringing many improvements to the game. These include fixes for gameplay issues, tweaks to how characters move and weapons function, and significant enhancements to the game’s lighting, sound, and overall performance.

I’m so excited for the update! It’s going to be available to download at 9:00 AM UTC. But don’t worry, the really fun stuff – like the Season 1 Battle Pass and all the new features – won’t unlock until 3:00 PM UTC that same day. We can still play before then as usual, but our progress won’t count towards Season 1 until it officially starts. So, download, then get ready to jump in later!
