The latest trailer for Battlefield 6, shown during the PlayStation State of Play, offered a first glimpse at the game’s single-player story. Players will follow Dagger 13, a group of Marine Raiders, as they battle Pax Armata – a powerful, technologically advanced private military company aiming to take control after NATO’s collapse.
The trailer begins with a quick, visually impressive scene of Dagger 13 coordinating an attack. After that, it mainly shows how the game is played, mixed with short story moments. We see characters exploring the ruins of Brooklyn, parachuting out of an airplane, and fighting their way onto a beach at Gibraltar.
The trailer showcases the impressive scope and level of destruction in Battlefield 6. Buildings crumble in the distance, and players can blast through walls while moving through structures. Numerous explosions emphasize the massive scale of the combat, from small breaches and collapsing corridors to RPG strikes on buildings and full-scale bombing runs on military bases.
So, I just heard EA is going to reveal more about the campaign for Battlefield 6 at the Tokyo Game Show – they’re doing a whole panel on it! And good news, you can already check out a preview of my hands-on experience with the campaign right now.
The new Battlefield game, Battlefield 6, will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC starting October 10th. Even though you can’t play it just yet, you can unlock special rewards for Battlefield 6 by playing Battlefield 2042 now.
