As a Battlefield fan, I’m really glad to see Battlefield 6‘s developers at Battlefield Studios are still listening to us! They just made a new adjustment – they’ve tweaked the number of tickets needed for Conquest maps, which should make things even better.
Battlefield Studios announced it’s lowering the number of starting tickets in matches to help games end more smoothly. They noticed many matches were finishing simply because the time ran out, rather than one team losing all their tickets, so they’re making this adjustment. The studio also promised to keep monitoring player feedback and game data to ensure matches flow well.
In Battlefield, both teams have a limited number of “tickets.” These tickets decrease when players on the opposing team are eliminated, or when one team controls more objectives. Here’s a look at how things have changed:
- Siege of Cairo from 1000 to 900
- Empire State from 1000 to 900
- Iberian Offensive from 1000 to 900
- Liberation Peak From 1000 to 800
- Manhattan Bridge From 1000 to 800
- Operation Firestorm From 1000 to 700
- New Sobek City from 1000 to 900
- Mirak Valley from 1000 to 700
Battlefield Studios recently fixed an issue with how accurately shots were registering in Battlefield 6, after players reported problems. They also made Rush mode more dynamic on certain maps by increasing the number of tickets needed to win, from 75 to 100. Finally, they adjusted weapon balance by slightly reducing the speed of bullets fired from the M2020 ESR and PSR.
Battlefield 6’s first season starts October 28th, and many believe that’s also when the game will get its battle royale mode.
Electronic Arts hasn’t released official sales figures for Battlefield 6, but an industry analyst estimates it sold 6.5 million copies in its first few days.
