Batmobile Crocs Revealed, Do Not Fire Missiles

As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast with a soft spot for the Caped Crusader, I must say that these Batman Crocs are nothing short of genius! Growing up watching Tim Burton’s Batman films, I can appreciate the intricate details they’ve managed to incorporate from the iconic Batmobile into these sandals.

If you’ve ever wished for footwear inspired by superhero themes, particularly Batman, your wishes might come true soon! Crocs is planning to launch a new set of Batman-themed shoes. Previously, Crocs has teamed up with DC Comics, but this upcoming pair showcases an homage to what many consider the top Batmobile model. The design cleverly blends the swift and gothic aesthetics of that iconic vehicle with a classic black sandal style. As for when they’ll be available in the US, there hasn’t been any announcement yet, but you can anticipate spending around $70 once they hit the shelves.

The shoes depicted here draw significant influence from the Batmobile featured in the 1989 Batman film and its sequel, Batman Returns. Features such as tail fins, windshield, jet turbine, engine parts, and signature headlights are incorporated directly into these Crocs. While we can’t guarantee they’ll make you fast enough to outrun the Joker’s minions, what we can assure is that these Crocs will undeniably elevate your fashion status, surpassing that of the Joker and his gang.

If you plan on sporting Crocs styled after the Batmobile, you might as well add some extra accessories to really amp up the cool factor. For instance, there’s a full-size replica of the Batman ’89 cowl available for preorder, priced at $100. This is an authentic 1:1 scale copy of the mask worn by Michael Keaton in his first Batman movie, and it has been quickly snapped up on Amazon. Fortunately, you can still get your hands on one as Target still has them in stock. So, no need to risk the Dark Knight’s displeasure by attempting to steal it!
