One individual, recognized as Waka in the digital world, is self-teaching the unconventional and challenging White Purity Style of Iai – a unique form of Japanese martial arts depicted in the Kagurabachi manga series, out of sheer fascination for its portrayal.

As a gamer, I delve into the White Purity Style, an art that traces its origins back to Iaido – a unique approach to Japanese swordsmanship emphasizing swiftness in drawing the sword and hastening conflicts’ conclusions. This technique was imparted during times of tranquility for samurai, and it is frequently perceived less as a martial art and more as an artistic expression or stage performance. However, Waka introduced this style to me.

White Purity Style, a technique used by only three characters within the series due to its intricate plot reasons, is exceptionally powerful yet challenging to perform physically. To execute this move correctly, the user must adopt an unconventional grip on the sword and rotate it 180 degrees before striking the target. Essentially, it’s a highly impractical technique that demands exceptional skill and dexterity.

Waka persists in employing it despite its impracticality for 2025, and it’s challenging to refute that he’s expressing some form of artistic expression here. In essence, his skill with a sword serves more as an artistic demonstration rather than a means for actual combat nowadays.
