Avengers: Doomsday & Secret Wars Shocker – Fan-Fave Hero Missing!

A glimpse into how Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars might appear is gradually emerging, however, it appears that one of the most crucial Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) characters will not be included in this narrative.

The forthcoming Marvel movie era carries significant importance, as it introduces fresh characters such as the Fantastic Four, the Russo Brothers are under pressure to make amends following the widely-criticized “The Electric State,” and there’s uncertainty regarding Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom within this narrative.

Without a doubt, we’ll recognize a few friendly characters again. Namely, Sam Wilson as Captain America, Peter Parker in his Spider-Man role, and Stephen Strange as Doctor Strange are set to reappear, ready to confront this fresh, otherworldly danger.

However, one character might not return, and even though this wasn’t entirely unexpected, it’s certainly left many fans feeling disheartened.

Scarlet Witch may not be in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter for promotional purposes of her latest science fiction film, The Assessment, Olsen subtly suggested that she might not participate alongside the cast and team during the filming of the forthcoming superhero movies.

Recently, Olsen had been in London, working on Sam Esmail’s upcoming thriller, titled “Panic Carefully.” Interestingly, the same location will soon serve as the set for two consecutive parts of the new Avengers films.

As a gamer, I’d rephrase that in my own words like this: “I won’t be sticking around in the UK any longer. I’ve wrapped up ‘Panic Carefully’ and now I’m diving straight into filming a pilot for FX titled ‘Seven Sisters.’

So from the sounds of it, Olsen isn’t involved in the Avengers production, for now at least.

In the finale of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it’s not too unexpected for viewers that Wanda ultimately brought down Darkhold Castle upon herself, aiming to annihilate the Darkhold.

Many fans have been eagerly anticipating a comeback for her impressive abilities and influential role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). However, at this point, it’s uncertain if that will happen.

As a devoted fan, I couldn’t help but express my disappointment when I heard Marvel seemingly squandered an opportunity by introducing such a beloved and lucrative female character only to let her slip through their fingers without utilizing her further.

“If she’s not returning, then I’m not either!” another said.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released on May 1, 2026, with Secret Wars on May 7, 2027.
