To be honest, before 2022’s Prey, I wasn’t a huge Predator devotee. I enjoyed the films, sure, but I wouldn’t have called myself a dedicated fan. But Prey really grabbed me, and now, having just finished Predator: Badlands, I’m officially hooked – I loved it almost as much as Prey! It’s actually made me rethink what I want to see in a future Predator movie.
Despite a relatively quiet year for official announcements from DC and Marvel, the movies we did get were excellent. We saw a strong and diverse range of films, including James Gunn’s take on Superman, a promising Fantastic Four reboot, a new Captain America with a fresh lead actor, the edgy Thunderbolts team-up, and a surprising animated superhero hit that became the year’s biggest blockbuster, earning over $2 billion.
Okay, so beyond knowing Downey is leading the next Avengers film, we’re pretty much in the dark about what Avengers: Doomsday will actually be about. But, thinking about some recent hints and reveals from the MCU, I’ve started to wonder if the whole idea of RDJ playing Doctor Doom might be a misdirection. Here’s what makes me think that…

Like the Steam Deck, it runs SteamOS and includes features like remote play, cloud saves, and a desktop mode. Importantly, it’s also a fully functional PC, meaning you can install and use any software and accessories you like. The trailer also shows that the front panel is easily customizable with different styles.
The Stranger Things box is packed with exclusive goodies, including a Hellfire Club-themed dipping sauce and a collectible mini-figure. While promoting his new movie, The Running Man, director Edgar Wright answered a question on Reddit about the film’s progress. He clarified that he isn’t directing it, but Joe Cornish – a frequent collaborator who originally wrote and directed the source material – is currently working on it.
David Twohy, the director of Pitch Black, includes a confusing plot twist in A Perfect Getaway that ultimately doesn’t make sense once you know who the real killers are. While the killers enjoy putting on a show, this twist feels forced and detracts from what is otherwise a gripping murder mystery. It unfortunately risks ruining the whole experience.
