In Just 3 Months, HBO Releases the Best Sci-Fi Murder Mystery Event of the Decade

Wow, even from just the two teasers, Lanterns is shaping up to be a truly unforgettable show – honestly, it could be one of the biggest TV events of the year! It’s not sticking to the usual superhero formula, which is so cool. It’s blending a bunch of different story ideas into something totally new. I’m getting the feeling that in just a few months, Lanterns is going to be the absolute best example of that sci-fi murder mystery vibe – I can’t wait!

5 Western Showdowns Better Than Doc Holliday’s In Tombstone

Though Tombstone remains a top-tier Western, particularly for its exciting gunfight, other films have arguably done similar scenes even better. Several classic Westerns, whether focusing on outlaw gangs or revenge stories, built incredible tension and deserve recognition. While Val Kilmer’s portrayal of a gunslinger is iconic, actors like Clint Eastwood set a higher standard.

The Valley Recap: Medical Marvels

It’s tough seeing Jason injured, and it’s funny that it took so long for anyone to notice the attractive paramedic who helped him! Someone really should have gotten his permission to be filmed. Now we need to find a way to publicly thank him – appropriately, of course, no unwanted attention! I shouldn’t make fun of Jason for getting hurt playing basketball, though; injuries happen as you get older. One minute you’re fine, the next you’re dealing with something unexpected. My brother learned that the hard way when he tried to learn to skateboard at 35 and ended up with a similar injury. Let’s all tease him instead! I’m happy to share his contact information if you’d like.

Matthew Perry’s Assistant Sentenced for Injecting Actor With Fatal Ketamine Dose

Jasveen Sangha, nicknamed the “Ketamine Queen,” received a 15-year sentence in April for providing the ketamine that led to Perry’s death. She and Erik Fleming, a director at a Bel-Air treatment center, sold the actor 51 vials of the drug, which was then administered by Iwamasa at Perry’s request. Iwamasa claims Perry’s final words were a request for a large dose—”shoot me up with a big one”—just before entering the hot tub where he was discovered deceased.

It’s Officially The End of an Era for the Avatar Movies

After twelve years of planning, the next Avatar movie will break with tradition by telling the story from a perspective outside of the Sully family. This suggests director James Cameron doesn’t see Avatar as a simple three-movie series, but rather an ongoing saga with multiple main characters. This change will allow the story to grow and evolve across generations, establishing Avatar as a long-lasting, multi-faceted narrative.

Prime Video’s Spider-Noir Quietly Brings Back The Multiverse After Spider-Man: No Way Home

The DC television universe, known as the Arrowverse, frequently explored the idea of multiple universes, especially during big crossover events like “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” These events brought together characters from different DC adaptations, such as Tom Welling reprising his role as Clark Kent from Smallville, and even featured voice acting legend Kevin Conroy playing a live-action version of Batman from the “Kingdom Come” storyline. More recently, James Gunn’s new DC Universe has also begun using the multiverse concept, with the second season of Peacemaker hinting at the possibility of alternate universes.
