Speaking with the Los Angeles Times, Lyle explained that the characters have been profoundly changed by their time in the wilderness, especially considering their young ages and how easily they were influenced. The show will delve into how these altered individuals attempt to adjust to a world that now feels both significant and strangely unfamiliar.

Iconic battles like Goku versus King Piccolo and Frieza, Gohan’s Super Saiyan 2 transformation during the Cell fight, and Vegeta’s sacrifice against Buu are unforgettable moments in anime history. However, with so much fighting in Dragon Ball, it’s understandable that some great battles don’t receive the recognition they deserve. There are many amazing showdowns in the series that fans have unfairly overlooked.

Director Schoenbrun has called their new film, Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, a story about discovering sexual pleasure after transitioning, and notes it’s both funnier and more shocking than their previous movies. Now, Disney hopes the new Zootopia show at Animal Kingdom will generate a similar level of excitement.
