Though the first prequel to Game of Thrones didn’t quite live up to expectations in its second season, there’s still plenty of excitement surrounding the show. Season 3 of House of the Dragon promises the action viewers were hoping for, with enough impressive scenes to overshadow any behind-the-scenes issues. The season is planned to feature at least four large-scale battles, starting with a unique opening scene in the premiere: the first major naval battle in the entire series.

Recent HBO successes include popular shows like The White Lotus and The Pitt, as well as classics like Game of Thrones and The Sopranos. A few years back, HBO released a fantastic, though often overlooked, series. As the weekend approaches, this crime thriller is a perfect choice for a quick binge-watch for several reasons.

HBO’s fantasy series, which began in 2011, is based on George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels. The show initially focused on Ned Stark, but his unexpected death at the end of the first season changed everything. Since then, Game of Thrones has become incredibly popular, spawning spin-offs like House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, with more new shows currently in the works.

By the time “In the Pale Moonlight” aired, Deep Space Nine was deeply involved in its Dominion War storyline. The show had already broken new ground for Star Trek by being set in one place, and it continued to push boundaries with its complex, long-term war themes. This episode is a key example of when Star Trek explored morally gray areas, and the show has been more careful about doing so ever since.

Brittany and Devonta are all over the place. One minute, Brittany’s upset, telling producers Devonta should have taken time off after his grandfather’s death and questioning if he’s serious about this relationship. The next, they’re happily connecting in bed and praising their communication. Brittany says she appreciates Devonta’s kind and forgiving nature, comparing him to Jesus. However, as Tyler noted previously, Jesus wasn’t in a relationship, which is a bit ironic.
