Alcock is well-known for her role as Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon, making this her first major film role. The movie’s first trailer, released last month, hinted at a different feel than James Gunn’s Superman film – a darker, more science fiction-focused story that appears to take place largely in space, exploring the wider DC Universe.

The report clarifies that there is no hidden ninth episode, and creators Matt and Ross Duffer have stated this marks the end of the show’s run and the cast’s involvement.
