Director Schoenbrun has called their new film, Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, a story about discovering sexual pleasure after transitioning, and notes it’s both funnier and more shocking than their previous movies. The film features Eva Victor, Zach Cherry, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Jack Haven (from I Saw the TV Glow). The trailer also seems to include a nod to the iconic Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma hits theaters on August 7th.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Doug Gilroy addressed a report from The Wrap claiming Dave Filoni didn’t enjoy the show Andor. Lucasfilm had previously dismissed these rumors, pointing out that Filoni actually praised the series in 2023. He stated, “Tony [Gilroy] did such a brilliant job with Andor. They’re just fantastic stories, and it’s great that it broadens the type of story that people can expect from Star Wars.”

The updated version will have a completely new storyline, moving the setting to North Carolina. It will follow a wedding planner who relocates to a new town and immediately clashes with the established local wedding planner. The show’s description hints at a rivalry that grows into a bigger conflict involving friendship, the community, and romance—and fans are hoping that rivalry will blossom into a love story!
