Wow, 2025 is shaping up to be an amazing year for games! I’m really excited to see how the mid-range, or ‘AA’, games are getting more and more popular. That new jRPG, Clair Obscur Expedition 33, looks incredible, and it feels like we’re seeing a ton of variety. I’ve been following ARC Raiders, the extraction shooter from Embark Studios, and it’s interesting – they originally planned it as free-to-play like The Finals, but now it looks like you’ll actually have to *buy* the game upfront.

New episodes of the Apple TV+ series Slow Horses are coming soon! Season 5 begins on September 24th, but instead of releasing all episodes at once, they’ll be released one per week, for a total of six episodes.

Details about the game are scarce, and the trailer is intentionally vague. It shows actress Sophie Lillis as someone in a haunted house, lighting candles, before she comes face-to-face with a creepy character. The game, titled *Knock*, features prominent knocking sounds – something the creator, Hideo Kojima, specifically highlighted in the trailer.

Ananta (Project Mugen) is a free-to-play, open-world RPG currently in development. The latest trailer shows players will have a lot of freedom when it comes to fighting and exploring the game world. While there’s no confirmed release date yet, pre-registration is now open.

The team at Windwalk Games, creators of *Sworn*, drew inspiration from the stories of King Arthur for their new game. The game is set in Arthur’s kingdom, but he’s become a cruel tyrant, and his Knights of the Round Table have been misled by evil powers. Players will take on the roles of heroes tasked with stopping the king’s reign of terror before it’s too late.

Actress Carina Conti, best known for playing Isabella Torrisi in *The Old Country*, recently shared some interesting news during a Twitch stream. She revealed that Hangar 13 was originally planned to develop a sequel to *The Old Country*, calling it “very exciting” (according to Push Square). Conti also explained that while each *Mafia* game has its own story, the games are all connected, creating a larger, unified world.

Slow Horses isn’t just a top-tier show on Apple TV+-it’s a welcome change from the frustrating trend of long waits between seasons. While quality television takes effort, we’ve already enjoyed five seasons of Slow Horses while waiting for the next season of Stranger Things.
