From a canceled MMO to a smash-hit shooter. How a huge failure was turned into one of Blizzard’s best decisions

I’ve covered a few ambitious game projects that didn’t quite work out. There was the Odyssey, which I discussed last July and ultimately failed to make an impact. I also looked at StarCraft: Ghost over a year ago, and now there’s Project Titan, a massive online game intended to compete with and even surpass World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, it also ended up being canceled. We now have some insight into why these projects failed.

Huntr/x Makes Their Live Performance Debut on Saturday Night Live

EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna-the vocal talents behind the girl group Huntr/x, featured in KPop Demon Hunters-recently made their first live appearance on Saturday Night Live. Well, it mostly happened within a sketch in Bad Bunny’s imagination, but it still counts! The sketch showed four friends at brunch, discussing adult issues (including being on … Read more

Bad Bunny Responds to Super Bowl Controversy in SNL Monologue

The Trump administration has expressed strong disapproval of Bad Bunny’s performance at the Super Bowl. When questioned about whether the NFL intended to make a statement by selecting Bad Bunny, DHS Secretary/South Park character Kristi Noem responded with a lengthy statement, saying “They suck and we’ll win and God will bless us, and we’ll stand and be proud of ourselves at the end of the day, and they won’t be able to sleep at night because they don’t know what they believe and they’re so weak. We’ll fix it.” Corey Lewandowski also announced that ICE would be present at the Super Bowl. It seems they’ve forgotten that Puerto Rico is part of the U.S. – which explains why Juan Jamón (Jon Hamm’s alter ego) can transition so seamlessly from Bad Bunny’s concert residency to making a cameo on SNL .

Gwyneth Paltrow Says Apple Loves Trying Her Famous Red Carpet Clothes, But Admits She Has Big Feet

Similar to Heidi Klum and Leni modeling lingerie together, Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter, Apple, have also teamed up for a modeling project. In an interview with Vogue, they shared that they posed together for the GapStudio fall 2025 campaign. Paltrow also revealed to the publication that she actually started planning her future daughter’s wardrobe even *before* Apple was born, and it’s quite a collection, in fact.

Justified Revived Gunslingers for the 21st Century

I’ve always been captivated by Justified – it feels both familiar and fresh. It really reminds me of Elmore Leonard’s work, with that snappy dialogue and those characters who aren’t easily categorized as simply good or bad. It’s a modern gunslinger story, but it doesn’t feel limited by time. What truly makes it special, I think, is that it *gets* the contradictions at the core of the Western genre. Raylan Givens isn’t your typical hero; he’s flawed, impulsive, and his upbringing in Appalachia weighs on him just as much as his job does. And then there’s Boyd Crowder – a villain who’s so smart and articulate, and who occasionally shows a glimmer of goodness, that it’s hard to know where he stands. That complexity is exactly what viewers want today. In a world saturated with high-quality TV, Justified proves the Western isn’t a relic of the past; it just needs to adapt and grow. It’s brilliant, really.

Forget ‘The Pitt,’ This New “Emotionally Powerful” Medical Drama Is Back With Season 2

Fox’s surprisingly good show Doc is back for a second season. The series centers on Dr. Amy Larsen, a talented surgeon who loses eight years of her memory following a car crash. While it has many elements common to medical dramas, it feels more authentic. It’s easy to connect with Amy and understand the challenges she faces as she tries to piece her life back together. The show focuses more on Amy’s personal struggle with who she is than on the medical details. It’s also inspired by the real-life experience of a doctor who went through something similar. With so much attention going to shows on cable and streaming services, Doc often gets overlooked, but it’s one of the best medical dramas to come out in recent years, and anyone who enjoys the genre should definitely check it out.
