During an appearance on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, Woody Allen mentioned that someone at The Today Show pointed out he hadn’t released any new work in over two years. He explained that this observation came after he appeared on Jimmy Fallon and then The Today Show, with the host noting his lack of recent projects.

During a recent Q&A session, actress Zazie Beetz described her favorite scene from the movie, calling it a very violent one with lots of fighting, gunshots, and even a moment she referred to as a “full blood explosion.” She then went on to share:

Despite the upcoming sequel to 28 Years Later, called The Bone Temple, I still hold out hope for the missing installment. Honestly, it’s more about what I want to believe. I enjoyed 28 Years Later and am excited for the new movie, but the jump from Days and Weeks straight to YEARS just feels off to me, and I doubt that feeling will ever change.

Following the first film’s success, a sequel was approved. Writer Taylor Sheridan, who previously appeared on Sons of Anarchy and gained recognition for films like Sicario and shows like Yellowstone and Landman, was brought on to write it. There was hope that Sicario 2 would be a major box office success, but unfortunately, it didn’t perform well in theaters, despite being a film many felt deserved a wider audience.

Jennifer Lawrence’s new movie centers on Grace, a mother battling severe postpartum depression and psychosis. This leads to the breakdown of her marriage with her husband, Jackson (played by Robert Pattinson), and her overall well-being. The film is a dark and intense psychological exploration with subtle sexual themes, and features intimate scenes between Lawrence and Pattinson. Interestingly, Lawrence found it easier to film these scenes because she didn’t know Pattinson personally.

Christopher Paolini’s The Inheritance Cycle is a great place to start for fantasy fans. The series began with Eragon in 2003 (though some readers found self-published copies earlier, in 2002). Clearly influenced by classic fantasy stories, the books capture the magic of the genre and are easy for newcomers to enjoy. It’s a sweeping adventure filled with dragons, a sense of fate, and thrilling danger, but it remains engaging without being overwhelming.
