Aura Entertainment gains the rights to distribute the action-comedy movie titled “Code 3,” featuring Rainn Wilson, Lil Rel Howery, and Aimee Carrero. This film produced by Wayfarer Studios is set to premiere in American cinemas on September 12th.
In “Code 3,” a weary paramedic undertakes his last 24-hour duty to pass the baton, but things take a turn for the worse as the night turns tumultuous. The trio of Wilson, Howery, and Carrero will guide you through this rollercoaster ride filled with “heart, humor, and nail-biting action.” This action-packed journey also stars Rob Riggle and Yvette Nicole Brown. Christopher Leone (“Parallels”) is at the helm of this production, having co-written the script with Patrick Pianezza, a former paramedic.
In “Code 3,” an exhausted paramedic works his last shift to train his replacement, but things get messy instead. Join Wilson, Howery, and Carrero for a thrilling ride filled with emotions, laughter, and suspense. The movie also features Rob Riggle and Yvette Nicole Brown. It’s directed by Christopher Leone from a script he wrote with Patrick Pianezza, who used to be a paramedic.
Through the purchase, Aura Entertainment, the freshly established U.S. film distribution company, expands its catalog of movies — now boasting 15 titles and rising — with seven scheduled to debut in 2025. Included in this lineup is “Trap House,” featuring Dave Bautista, which is planned for a broad cinema release on November 14.
According to Aura CEO Marc Goldberg, ‘Code 3’ broadens our selection of unique, genre-blending films that deeply connect with viewers. It offers an entertaining, heartwarming journey, supported by two well-loved comedic stars of the present day.
Andrew Calof, the President of Production at Wayfarer Studios, stated that collaborating with Aura was a “remarkable journey.” He also noted that they are “at the forefront” when it comes to modern distribution systems, and their inventive methods match seamlessly with Wayfarer’s vision.
The producers for “Code 3” include Matt Smith from Electro Corduroy Entertainment, Lawrence Mattis from Circle of Confusion, Justin Baldoni and Calof from Wayfarer Studios, as well as Paul “Pizza” Pianezza from Realdream. Steve Sarowitz and Angela Cardon serve as executive producers for Wayfarer Studios, alongside Wilson and Howery. Michael D. Jones is the producer for Silver Hearts Productions. Megan Herring co-produces for Circle of Confusion.
