Warning: This section contains spoilers for “The Masked Singer,” Season 13, Episode 3, themed as “Rat Pack Tribute Night,” which was broadcasted on Fox on February 26.
Aubrey O’Day, a past member of Danity Kane, “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant, and now a contestant on Fox’s popular music competition series, “The Masked Singer,” was unveiled as the mystery celebrity on Wednesday. During the show’s “Rat Pack Tribute Night,” she was identified as the Ant.
For Ant, Robin Thicke chose Demi Lovato, while Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg opted for Evan Rachel Wood. Rita Ora selected Charly XCX, and Ken Jeong picked Mel B from the Spice Girls.
(Here, I’ve tried to make it clearer by rephrasing the original sentences in a way that shows who each person chose, while also maintaining the structure of the original sentence.)
Each day, Odessa performed “Fever,” originally sung by Peggy Lee, as part of her usual act. Subsequently, Paparazzo advanced to the final six, known as the “Lucky 6.” Meanwhile, Ant and Coral fought tooth and nail for Group A’s remaining spot in a fierce competition. Afterwards, Ant and Odessa sang “My Way,” made famous by Frank Sinatra. In the end, it was Ant who was eliminated following the audience vote.
One of O’Day’s influential figures in her early days was Sean “Diddy” Combs, although she didn’t explicitly name him last week, she spoke about a villain who hindered her progress. Comparing this to classic fairy tales, she had her own version of a villainous character like Lord Farquaad from Shrek. This person confined and isolated her, using their malicious intentions. He was similar to Lord Farquaad in being domineering, vain, and cruel. He insisted that she must comply to advance, demanding submission, sweetness, and silence. However, secrets can be harmful, and O’Day has come to understand that it’s time to escape her confinement and write her own story. In retrospect, she wishes no one else would endure the same suffering she did. Now, she is ready to pen the next chapter of her fairy tale on her own terms.
In “The Masked Singer” Season 13, Aubrey O’Day appeared as Ant, Oscar de la Hoya was Fuzzy Peas, and Cedric the Entertainer took on the role of Honey Pot as the celebrities who were unveiled.
As I settled into my seat for “Rat Pack Night,” Robin Thicke’s sultry rendition of “Fly Me to the Moon,” originally made famous by the legendary Frank Sinatra, filled the air. The Group A finalists, Coral, Paparazzo, and Ant, joined him, creating an atmosphere that harkened back to the Rat Pack era.
Host Nick Cannon is back, joined by his regular panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Rita Ora (who’s returning for her third consecutive season), and Robin Thicke, filling in once again for Nicole Scherzinger.
Nick Cannon is back as host with his panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Rita Ora who has returned for her third season, and Robin Thicke standing in for Nicole Scherzinger once more.
For the current season, a secretive figure known as “Detective Lucky Duck” will make appearances to provide hints and aid the judges in solving the mystery of who’s hidden behind the masks (he debuted in this episode). In addition, we have a new feature called “Crack the Case,” where additional clues are given out about the contestants who were previously eliminated.
Ant’s clue case included a “world record.” “I don’t know, there’s so many!” she said.
Season 13 of “The Masked Singer” features episodes paying homage to popular franchises like “Shrek,” “Ghostbusters,” and the Grand Ole Opry as it celebrates its centennial. Additionally, you’ll see tributes to the Rat Pack, themes such as “Voices of Olympus: Unveiling the Gods,” “Carnival,” “Boy Bands,” “Decades,” a round called “Lucky 6 Speed Guessing,” a “Clash of the Masks,” and the comeback of “Soundtrack of My Life.
In Season 13, the hidden participants are Honey Pot, Space Ranger, Cherry Blossom, Coral, Fuzzy Peas, Ant, Photographer (Paparazzo), Griffin, Boogie Woogie, Pearl and Bat; further contestants will be unveiled at a later time.
Here were the performances on Wednesday’s Episode 3, “Rat Pack Tribute Night”:
Coral
Song: “Luck Be a Lady,” by Frank Sinatra
Panel guesses: Victoria Justice, Rachel Zegler, Dove Cameron, Camila Mendes
Slot machine clue: Apples. “If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere!”
Coral’s voiceover: “I’ve advanced to the Group A finals! I’m speechless, and this is even more special because it’s Rat Pack Night, as their music always takes me back to my dad. Memories of us cruising the East Coast shoreline with tunes like ‘Mickey Blue Eyes’ and ‘Sammy Davis, Jr.’ playing in the background, dreaming of becoming a big star just like them. When I moved from the Atlantic to the Pacific and got my shot at stardom, it was like being thrown into the deep end of an entirely new world. I felt so lonely and scared I wouldn’t belong. But there was one constant throughout it all: My dad. He stood by me every day on set, cracking jokes to lift my spirits. He made this unfamiliar coast feel like home. Tonight, I’m singing our favorite song in his honor. Love you dad. Thanks to you, I am the luckiest girl in the world.
Previous songs: “Mad World,” by Tears for Fears; “Accidentally in Love,” by Counting Crows
Past Attempts at Identification: Guesses included Bebe Rexha, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sabrina Carpenter, Halsey, Anna Kendrick, Dove Cameron, Hailee Steinfeld, and Lili Reinhart.

Ant
Song: “Fever,” by Peggy Lee
Panel guesses: Aubrey O’Day, Mel B, Charli xcx
Hint for Slot Machine: Lunar Explorer. “I’m not originally from where the lunar explorer set foot. However, the place he touched down was instrumental in providing a significant boost to my professional journey.
Ant voiceover: “I’m absolutely delighted for the Rat Pack tribute night! In fact, I was part of a ‘rat colony.’ When we first formed, it felt like finding the siblings I never had as a child. We hit the scene hard, like a well-oiled machine. We shared everything – success, fame, the bright lights. But we also shared the tough times – the long hours, the harsh conditions, the constant criticism. And yet, we persevered together. We even managed to top the charts amidst it all. It was an ‘ant fever,’ indeed! I wouldn’t be standing here today without them. So tonight, let me share another hit from my rat pack. You may never know just how much I love you, how much I care. You are remarkable women, capable of anything.
Previous songs: “Just Give Me a Reason,” by Pink; “Wide Awake,” by Katy Perry
Previously, I’ve put forth suggestions like Lea Michele, Lindsay Lohan, Kesha, Ashanti, and once again, Kesha and Lindsay Lohan. I also considered Evan Rachel Wood as a possibility in my guesses.

Paparazzo
Song: “That’s Amore,” by Dean Martin
Panel guesses: Cole Sprouse, Michael Cera, Henry Thomas, Matthew or Andrew Lawrence
Hint for Slot Machine: Frankenstein. “Creatures lurking under your bed can be frightening, but on the big screen, they’re less terrifying. I’ve experienced this personally.
Narrator’s voice: “I’ve advanced to the finals in Group A. Interestingly, tonight’s theme is a tribute to the Rat Pack, and here’s an interesting tidbit – I’m actually of Italian descent! When my grandparents immigrated from Italy (yes, the Old Country) to America, they were focused on adapting to their new life, learning English, and blending in. However, when it was my turn to break into show business, agencies found it challenging to pronounce my real surname. Reluctantly, I changed it. Yet, I’ve always been proud of my heritage, even if others didn’t know about it. Tonight, I’ll be performing one of the most famous Italian anthems ever composed. This one’s for my family, and of course, Frankie and Dino.
Previous songs: “The Door,” by Teddy Swims; “Hallelujah,” by Leonard Cohen
As a cinephile, I’ve been pondering over this mystery actor. Could it be the charming Taron Egerton? Or perhaps the versatile Joseph Gordon-Levitt? Maybe even Kieran Culkin or James Marsden gracing our screens again? There’s also Seth Green and Elijah Wood, both talented individuals in their own right. Let’s see who it is!
In Season 12 of “The Masked Singer”, the character Buffalo, represented by Boyz II Men, took home the championship trophy, outperforming Wasp (Mario) who ended up as the season’s second place contestant. Joining them in unmasking were AJ Michalka as Strawberry Shortcake, Kobie Turner as Goo, Jana Kramer as Royal Knight, Bronson Arroyo as Sherlock Hound, Drake Bell as Ice King, Bethany Hamilton as Macaron, Natalie Imbruglia as Bluebell, Laverne Cox as Chess Piece, Andy Richter as Dusty Bunny, Paula Cole as Ship, Marsai Martin as Woodpecker, Yvette Nicole Brown as Showbird, and John Elway as Leaf Sheep – these were the celebrities who were revealed on “The Masked Singer” Season 12.
The TV show ‘The Masked Singer’ originates from Fox Alternative Entertainment. Rosie Seitchik, Craig Plestis and Cannon act as executive producers, with Seitchik also serving as the show’s manager. The series is modeled after a South Korean format that was created by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp.
