Koei Tecmo recently shared that they’re planning to make improvements to the gameplay experience of “Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land,” specifically focusing on enhancing the camera functionality and user interface for a smoother gameplay.
After its initial release, Atelier Yumia has received updates that include demo save transfer support. However, Koei Tecmo plans to tackle problems with the camera, battle results screen, sprinting, synthesis animations, and other aspects in the coming days or weeks. It’s undetermined whether these improvements will come as a single update or multiple patches.

Updates scheduled for the near future
1. Camera behavior
●Adjustment to the “Battle Results” screen
In the “Options” menu under the “Battle” tab, an option to display or hide the summary screen after fights will be provided. If selected, you’ll see the summary screen at the end of battles; otherwise, it will be skipped.
Following the upgrade, the system will be set to “inactive” by default. If you’d like to view the results screen as previously, simply adjust your settings to “active”.
In conjunction with this update, camera behavior during battles will also be adjusted.
2. Usability improvements
●Adjustment to the start of “Synthesis” animation
In future updates, you’ll have the ability to quickly move past or speed up the initial stages of the synthesis animation by simply pressing a button for immediate transition to the next scene.
●Adjustment to the “Sprint” button
A new feature will be introduced that enables users to select various techniques for sprinting. In the upcoming version, the current “On” and “Off” options will be replaced by “Auto”, “Manual”, and “Toggle”.
As a fan, I can say that by pressing a designated button, my speed boosts into a sprint. This sprint continues until I choose to release the button and return to regular running pace.
We are working to release the updates above as soon as possible.
