At Fate’s End Is A New Action Game From The Developers Of Spiritfarer

At the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, it was revealed that At Fate’s End is the upcoming title from Thunder Lotus Games, creators of Spiritfarer. This will be their second game, following the release of 33 Immortals in early access earlier this year.

In this action-packed game, Shan is the protagonist, armed with the mythical God Sword Aesus, engaging in battles not just against enemies, but against her own family. However, it’s not only swordplay that will win these conflicts; At Fate’s Ending emphasizes dialogue and family dynamics in its combat system, making conversations as crucial as combat skills.

In the game trailer, it’s evident that Shan must pick dialogue options during a dramatic fight scene. As per the Steam page description, you get to choose whether to vanquish or reconcile with each of Shan’s relatives, and these decisions will shape the storyline. The skills Shan acquires are tied to his family; as you overcome each relative, they bestow new abilities that aid in deeper exploration of the world found in At Fate’s End.

The trailer highlights some beautiful 2D artwork, a trait that aligns well with the visually captivating environment found in Spiritfarer. While it remains uncertain as to how much time you’ll spend discovering outside of battle scenes, it’s evident that the game offers diversity in its various locations.

Thunder Lotus Games is working on the second game titled “At Fate’s End,” which follows their previous project, “33 Immortals.” Although “33 Immortals” went into early access earlier this year, it doesn’t have a definitive release date yet. Expected to launch in 2026, “At Fate’s End” will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC platforms.
